Almost all of them I could not shame. None claimed medical dispensation, with or without a certificate.
Farang police? Did you ask to see "work permit" too?

I live and drive/ride in the area every day. Haven't been stopped since late 2019. That was in a soi connecting Thonglor and Ekkamai. The cops were super nice. No problem at all.
I've spotted police doing stop-and-search of (Thai male) scooter riders in the area several times. Presumably they are looking for drugs.
Don't be surprised to get pulled over by two officers on a motorbike. As long as you don't carry anything illegal, I think you will be on your way after a few minutes. At least, that's what happened to one event I observed from start to end.

UPDATE: The BMA has ordered the closure of 196 entertainment venues in three districts of #Bangkok: Wattana, Klongtoey and Bang Khae, for 14 days from 6-19 April 2021. Some venues in other districts could also be closed
Is there a list, or are all venues in those areas closed?

So .... It is more easy to prove being ' scammed ' than to pass a test???????
I don't know. But it says that a Norwegian passport holder is entitled to Visa Exemption and that it would be more serious if that wasn't the case.

There's a new development in this case. The person in question has come forward. He was scammed by a visa service agency which he paid $500. He isn't in prison, he's in quarantine and will be allowed to enter Thailand.

Did you fill out and submit to immigration a tm28 notice of change of address?
No, never heard of TM28. But my Google search tells me it may not be required. Do you think that's the reason?

They post them out ?
Yes, you don't get it immediately. They say within two weeks.

A few months ago I moved from one rented condo to another within Bangkok. The landlord registered my arrival online, and I've been using the screenshot of the online TM30 form for my 90 day reporting at least once.
Recently, I went to CW to get a residence certificate, and of course I had to fill out my new address very accurately. After a two weeks I received a notice from my previous landlord that there was a letter for me. And there it was, the residence certificate stating that I live at my old address.
Where did I go wrong?

Also, the cocaine would make him feel less drunk.

https://dlt-elearning.com/ takes you to the 5 year licence renewal application.
I have an EU car driving license and an International Driving Permit. I want to use it to get a Thai license, and additionally get a Thai license for motorbike. Do I have to go through the 7-hours e-learning?

I'm renting a condo in Bangkok, and I need to get a residence certificate from Chaeng Wattana. There's conflicting information online about the documents required.
These are the documents I have:- Passport with visa
- TM6
- TM30 receipt
- Condo contract
But do I also need to have the house book from the owner?

I've decided not to hire anyone in the country for this job based on your comments. It carries a risk, and I don't like stress. Thanks guy

Exactly right. The moment you meet in person, you are, by definition, working.
I'm already hiring people to clean up my apartment and drive me around.

So you are working on a Elite visa, which isn't allowed.
Of course not! That would be crazy. ????

OK, so everyone thinks it's a bad idea. I guess you are right, and I was expecting it. I probably won't be going ahead with it.

I'm staying in Thailand on the Elite Visa, and I'm not working here. However, I have an online business in Europe which I will need help with sooner or later. I'm not ready to hire anyone at this point, so please don't send me any requests.
My question is if it's possible for me to hire a Thai person to help with answering emails and other online chores?
It will be a 100% work-from-home, virtual position. I know there are foreign agencies specializing in this sort of things, especially in the Philippines. But it would be nice to have someone that you could meet in person from time to time. Is it possible?

How come this word โรงพยาบาล (hospital) doesn't end with บ้าน (house), even though it's pronounced with a "baan" ending. Especially the "n" ending confuses me because ล is pronounced like an L.

The 5000 Baht cash handout will definitely have an immediate impact on the exchange rate. They will have to print more money, and bringing more money into circulation makes the currency worth less. If you're not seeing any changes, it must be because your home currency is taking a hit as well.

Could someone walk me through how a normal conversation with a food delivery guy goes?
I order Grab, Get, or Foodpanda every day, but I don't know how to speak with them. That's a shame because I know quite a few words by now.
Everything from I pick up the phone and say Hallo (or whatever is appropriate), their typical response, and how I can say I'm coming down to pick up the food.
How can I say "keep the change"? Or if I pay by card and give an extra 20, what should I say then?

I'm considering coming down to fun city for a few days at the beach. Is it still possible to rent a deck chair, or have they closes like the bars?

Most experts say that masks are a false sense of security. Especially the surgical masks that they say don't help at all.
So what should we do? Listen to the experts or not?

Tourist attractions? Taking paying customers to tourist attractions could lead to being arrested for illegally working as a tour guide.
Perhaps if I hire a legit Thai tour guide company to take us around. I wasn't planning on doing the guiding myself anyway.
Thailand may cancel Test & Go due to Omicron: Anutin

Thairath just released this quote from Anutin saying that:
"Mr Anutin said that from now on, the remaining portions of the Test and Go and Thailand pass systems must be dealt with before adjusting the measures."
But I used Google translate.
Can someone proficient in Thai language please read this article and tell us if he intends to honor the Thailand passes already issued:
