    Is there Thai Airways office in Phuket?

    According to Thai air site, office in Phuket is this.
    I have never visited this company.
    I am not sure if the company is operated by Thai air
    or just have contract with Thai air.

    Maybe worth sending e-mail or making phone call?

    30 or 7 day extension of NON OA Visa possible

    I think you have entered with NON-OA and have permission to stay for one year just like this.

    You can extend permission to stay without leaving Thai.

    It can be done at local immigration office.????

    Extension is for one year, not 30 days.

    For your reference, this is information in Phuket.

    Basically it should be same in other place.

    (Some local office might have some local rule...)

    This site say "Valid Non-O visa", but it should be Non-OA.

     

    Phuket Retirement Visa Agent Recommendation

    I think you should read this topic in Phuket forum.
    Several agents are recommended there.




    Originally, I got NON-Immi visa from Penang, Malaysia.
    And then, I live in Phuket for several years with 1 year extension as retirement.
    I do not use agent. I do extension by myself.

    1) Prepare documents.
    2) Go to Phuket immigration office and submit passport and other documents.
    3) Pay THB 1900 and get receipt.
    4) Next working day, receive pass port with new stamp of 1 year.

    We do not have to leave Thai. All can be done in Phuket.
    For extension, re-entry permit is not required.
    Of course, If you leave Thai, you should get re-entry permit.
    Extension is for 1 year, not 6 month.


    In case you entered into Thai without visa or with tourist visa,
    first you should convert your category of permission to stay from tourist to retirement.

    Agent can do these and reporting for you with certain fee.

    tm30 receipt

    As you know, different from online TM-47, there is no official receipt for online TM-30. I like to do like this.


    Logon online TM-30 site.
    Click "Search TM-30", then pop up will come up.

    Copy URL of pop up.
    Close pop up.

    Open new Tab on browser.
    Past URL onto URL bar of new Tab.
    Find out your report on new Tab.

    Print that page using "print" of browser.
      At this time, adjust scale and margins as shown below.
        This is "Edge".
        Other browser would have other print menu.

    Logout

    Sign on the printed paper.


    This print out is accepted without any problem at extension and other application by Phuket immigration.

    90 Day Report Gone Crazy

    I had almost same experience in Phuket at one year extension of retirement.

    (1) 14 Dec. 2021
    I made online TM-47 report via new system. 3 days later, it was approved.
    Next due date was 16 Mar. 2022.


    (2)8 Feb. 2022
    I went to immigration office for one year extension of retirement.
    I passed print out of online TM-47 report with other papers.
    However, young assistant officer in the room 103 could not confirm my TM-47 report on  their PC.
    Elder officer went out of room 103 with my passport and TM-47 report.
    10 minutes later, he came back and it got OK.
    I do not know where he has been.

    I think cross reference between two systems is not working well.
    One is new online TM-47 reporting system
    Another one is internal system within immigration office.

    I paid THB 1900. only.


    (3)9 Feb. 2022
    I could receive my pass port with new one year of retirement. OK.

    Also I had new TM-47 report receipt.
    This is special free service of Phuket.
    Officer makes TM-47 report even though it is earlier than due date.
    Next due date was 8 May. 2022.


    (4)1 Mar. 2022
    I received e-mail from online TM-47 reporting system.
    > Your receipt for notification of "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" will be due on 16/03/2022.
    Due date should be 8 May. 2022.
    Here again, cross reference between two systems is not working well.

    I was afraid that if I do not make report at this time and do it just before 8 May. 2022, system will reply error of “Out of due”.
    So I made report on 2 Mar. 2022, two weeks earlier than 16 Mar. 2022 and it was approved.


    So, if we are to use new online TM-47 reporting system,
    prepare print out of report result at extension.
    if e-male come, just follow it.

     1. ห้ามอากาศยานขนส่งคนโดยสารทำการบินเข้ามายังท่าอากาศยานในประเทศไทยเป็นการ ชั่วคราว ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2563 เวลา 00.01 น. จนถึงวันที่ 31 พฤษภาคม  2563 เวลา 23.59 น.

     

    Online translation is

    1. Prohibited passenger aircraft to fly into the airport in Thailand temporarily from May 1, 2020 at 00.01 hrs. Until May 31, 2020 at 23.59 hrs.

     

    So we have to stay in Thai until May 31 at least.

    Phuket Immigration Latest

    I live in Chalong for more than decade.
    I do not remember exactly. Several years ago, Official opened
    the immigration office at the red marked place.
    This was for yacht. Many yachts come form another country.
    My life has nothing to do with yacht.
    (Would it be nice, if I could have a chance ?)
    I had to go to the office in Phuket town for extension and other.

    Now they opened this office for everybody.
    Certainly, this is not "mobile".

    Changes at Phuket Immigration?

    This week I extended my 1 year retirement at the room 103 of Phuket immigration.

    Paper check was dome smoothly and I paid THB 1900 only.

    After that, young assistant officer instructed me to put my finger on the finger print scanning machine. This is a new thing. They took my finger print of all 10 fingers.
    And also, they took 2 of my photos. Last year, only 1 photo they took.
    Actually these are not problem, done in a few minutes, simple process.

    I think Thai official is tightening the check and control of expert.
    I am afraid this might not be for ease something.
    I can get along with these new thing. But in anyway, there are changes.

    (This is a story of room 103. I do not know other room.)
     

    Stamp into new passport

    I live in Phuket.
    On Jan. this year, I got new passport form embassy of my home country
    in Bangkok. And also I got a letter of embassy about new passport.
    On Feb. this year, I did two thongs at the same time in Phuket,
    transfer stamp to new passport and 1 year extension of retirement.

    At that time, I used this Phuket form.

    "BANGKOK IMMIGRATION DIVISION" is on this form.

    So if you are not in Bangkok or Phuket, I recommend to use this form.

    At that time, Phuket officer requested me to make 2 copies of both
    old and new passport.
    I was told that "Stamp transfer and extension is two different thing.
    One copy for each."
    So if you are to do stamp transfer only, only one copy will be enough.
    But each office might have each local rule.

    Other papers, such as TM-7, bank letter and some others for extension,
    only one is required.
