That question would be best put to a behavioural psychologist.

I was reading on Kicks how it works, and that's not really a hybrid. Works like a diesel electric train.
It's an interesting topic. There has been much discussion about the efficiency of series hybrid (train locomotive style) compared to a parallel system where combustion engine and electric motor are mechanically connected to the final drive.
The Edison Motors story and their diesel electric truck is a good example of where efficiency arguments have been started.
There is a lot of misunderstanding and twisted facts surrounding the Nissan E-Power system. I guess most of this comes from the army of online motoring journalists.A tear-down video is the best way to understand how this system works and why there are many questions raised about its efficiency and energy losses through the various power stages.

Wire it like the dotted line after removing the cap. and reverse should be available.
I'd test first without removing the cap to ensure you're good like that. So just motor L and N to W and V.
Motor should look like this inside, remove the cap and connect U to the aux winding.
If it goes the wrong way, swap V & W.
The OP might be confused when opening the motor because the spec plate mentions separate start run capacitors. There will be a switch facility somewhere on the motor.
Not a problem trying a VFD on this motor but best he is aware of the increased complexity under the covers.

But now I find that I am unable to find any transformers any more in any of the large stores like HomePro or Thaiwatsadu.
I have even tried a few "mom & pop" hardware stores locally, but none are available.
Numchai Electrical Naklua were holding stock of Philips electronic 220-12V transformers end of last year.
If above has no stock alternatives below.

How could an aircon compressor in a room that's not sold (so aircon not running) blow up and catch fire? Daikin uses R32 gas, the most advanced coolant, and very difficult to ignite (see video below).
Only way this could happen would be sustained fire inside compressor box to allow gas to be trapped there long enough to ignite. But what could cause a sustained fire?
I'm really looking forward to see what the investigation comes up with.
How could an AC air compressor blow up and catch fire in a room that's not occupied. Maybe a staff member left the AC switched on.
Clue - A housekeeper in the building said she heard a loud explosion.
If an AC compressor suffers from extreme overheating there's a chance it will vent or explode. What happens to the hot oil and surrounding materials is up to the gods.

2hp brushless DC motor/pump with mppt controller, no battery required electronic controller handles the start load.
There are many specs for these pumps to suit various panel arrangements and voltages.
Example spec :-Output 190V 1500W.
Solar panels open circuit voltage <430V power >1900W.
Approx cost excluding panels 12-14k Baht.

The book burnings were started by the German Students Union who wanted to remove any literature that was thought to be leading Germans astray. To say the Nazis did not burn Trans books is far fetched to say the least.
I think its reasonably safe to say some of Magnus Hirschfeld's transgender health care literature went on the fire when book burnings began at the Institute Of Sex Research.
The Twelve Theses were issued to purify the German language and remove any literature influenced by the Jews.- 1

In my opinion, due to the lack of consistency in water supplies here, brass is the better option. We have well water, and even with the water treatment system, it plays havoc with anything metal. Even stainless rusts, which brass will not.
Some of the brass faucet inserts in areas that use our well water have suffered from dezincification which causes the insert body to become brittle and fail. The solution was to replace these inserts with stainless steel.
Below photo shows a brass insert that has become brittle and cracked alongside a stainless steel replacement from China. We have machined down the spindle of the replacement to fit the faucet lever. It can be difficult finding inserts that are an exact match.- 1

The fact that the car uses batteries is not relevant in my opinion. I think the blame lies with the computer.
And if bugs remain in software the right set of events can lead to failure.
Electrically, ICE vehicles have the ABS pump and control module to handle. EV's throw regenerative braking into the same mix adding one more control function to the braking system logic.

Terrified M62 driver speaks out following claims Jaguar suffered 'electrical fault' as he was 'unable to brake'
Drama unfolded after the Jaguar I-PACE vehicle, according to police, malfunctioned on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway towards Eccles yesterday afternoon (Wednesday). The vehicle, it is claimed, reached speeds of 90mph before police used specialist tactics to ram it and bring it to a halt.
There was a similar case a few months ago with a MG ZS EV also unable to brake
Easy now, the confused emojis are already running rife.
You got to keep it real simple.

OP, until a lot more water has passed under the bridge you are no going to get solid answers about the durability of Chinese EV's or other important factors to consider when purchasing a new vehicle.
Our house masters sister has recently moved from Honda Jazz to MG4 and I know for sure her decision was based more on the cars looks and electronic trinkets rather than its ability to replace her Jazz. A YouTube influencer provided the killer sales pitch. She likes the car a lot but being a worrier admits the thought of not having enough charge to complete a journey and being unable to find a charger might never go away. Her stress levels were not helped when owner of the excavator sales and service next door to us jokingly asked her to park it on the other side of our compound away from his stock. The brother in law then went in for the kill by saying it would be best left in the street well away from our masters wooden house. All those nasty Tube videos putting ideas into people heads.
An EV service industry is already developing outside of the main dealers which might be good news for those concerned about affordable support for ageing EV's. We need to see more tear-downs and feedback from those repairing these Chinese masterpieces.Just for fun …

Three days already and zero food or water.
We have many stray cats in our compound where in the past some have survived what looked like a severe case of flu.
Very important the cat is drinking, if it refuses force using a syringe. Remove any discharge from around eyes, mouth and nose, keep in a quiet place away from other cats.

A serviced apartment building near to us has banned EV charging in the car park located directly below the apartments at ground level. My brother-in-law who provides services to this building was asked to disconnect several wall sockets in the parking area and erect warning signs. The building insurers were communicating with the owners about this along with complaints about trip hazards created by cables charging electric scooters.
It's quite understandable that insurers would want to reduce risk from vehicles parked within a building structure knowing that some are extremely difficult to extinguish when on fire. I guess risk assessment for EV's on charge is still in its early stages.

I can confirm that The Beekeeper is as bad as mentioned. Avoid at all costs, the fight scenes are more like brawls.
The best acting in The Beekeeper movie comes from two maintenance guys fixing a leak in ceiling of the FBI field office.

Above ground tank cleaning
Our product wash supply tanks are cleaned three times a year using strong chlorine and brush. To make this an easy task all pipe connections are fitted with barrel unions which allow the tank to be quickly disconnected tipped on its side for cleaning and upside down to drain and rinse.
PVC inline barrel union.

Pressure vessels that are "open" are no longer pressure vessels.
On the basis you haven't explained it very well I will take your word for it. In the tech manual the item is referred to as the air control assembly and it was my understanding the bladder did something similar with air in the tank.
I have a multitude of pumps but never come across one with a bladder, but going by the rhetoric on here they must be very common.
By open vessel I am referring to there being no isolation (bladder) between the compressible air pocket and the water.
The air control assembly as it is called injects air into the tank. The item is made up of several components which is why it is called a control assembly. Control is used in the naming of this device because it keeps the level of air in the pressure tank under control.
The compact house pump range use pre charged pressure vessels with isolation bladder rather than a large tank with air pocket below the pump.
Example pre charged bladder tank used on compact pumps.

Pumps with open pressure vessel have never had bladders. Item 16 on the diagram is the air injector which maintains the pressure storage air pocket in the vessel.
Each time the pump starts a diaphragm in the injector uses pump pressure to inject a shot of air.
