CM IMM now has a shop for this next to copy shop for TM30 reporting...nice chubby fellow in there got me updated ..free service.....as i did my last extension yest for my 2nd land crossing

Noticed they have new monitors inside for cue #....even though its always a pain it was my quickest ext so far..about 130-2 hrs as it usually takes me 3 hrs as i arrive right after lunch

Also my "visa" expired on sunday the 24th as as always i go there a few days early to see what they did to confuse me since last visit...as i have been going in days early due to weekend closure so it would have been the friday the 22 for my ext stamp....lost about a week worth of days sue to weekends..BUT i found out they give you a GRACE day....not 2 days but one day..so i was able to go monday the 25th with no fine even thought my stamp was valid until the 24th..

Old guy on glasses outside is nice enough BUT there is a young thai guy that was just in  a bad mood that works there..window #1....scolded me for folding my paperwork and tried to get me on overstay but called him on it as the glasses guy next to him (his boss) gave me the ok on it

So had i known about this one day amnesty could have saved me about a weeks worth/credit

also the vol girl inside was really checking my info...compared my PP to paperwork and really checked on my address vs TM30...never had this done but maybe just never noticed.....anyway i was just glad i was in and out in my quickest and last visit for another 6 months stay-visa free

I paid the initial fine at the hut in 2016 or so..as a condo owner not reporting myself..have a yellowbook.  But having to go in on a Friday after a 25hour plus flight just sucked.

  2. Tom Brady was a big player in Sam Bankman's crypto fraud.  So he is like the former CEC President times a million.  There's about 5000 better looking chicks up at CMU than his supermodel eurotrash wife, too.

Denver banned pitbulls, you can look up the wording.  About one in a hundred thais are responsible pet owners., and that would give benefit of the doubt to those with large dogs and almost zero land.

  3. I just bought a 63 month CD at 5.5%, interest paid monthly.  It is callable, but I have never been burned on that.  Funny how the best rates are often for oddball terms.  Must be the anti competitive spirit in them.  I still have a crush on Kwan at CIMB.  Hey, just to piss off the feminazis, let's do a thread on best looking bank tellers.  Overall, and individual branches, along with special mention for superstar.

  4. Glad I could assist.  You might be surprised how quickly the offerings can change.  And another thing the bank mob does is to not allow you to tell them what to do upon maturity...and this goes for LOS, too.  You have to go in on the day of maturity, or during a small window around maturity to prevent a roll over that may be crap...very common in the Thai system..you get a 7 month promo, and it auto rolls to a one year paying half or less.  They are gambling on you not staying on top of it.  Oh, and about a third of the IOs frown at FD..typical resentment of foreigner gaming their system to make a few $$.

  5. JPM.  But, the key is to buy them through your brokerage account.  Brokered CDs are a thorn in the side of the banking mob.  If you asked at a branch, they might tell you less....often much less.  Brokered CD gives you the same protection as retail, and the money automatically comes out of your cash reserve account, and is automatically put back in...there are zero lost interest days, and no need for new signature cards, etc....btw, FDRXX is currently yielding 4.77%, but buying CD locks you in, provided they aren't callable.  Bank of China-US is offering 5.1 fir 30 days..  they have come down slightly in the past few weeks.

  6. Typically, it would be on OSB, which you don't see in LOS.  I was looking about a year ago, but have since sold the house. There are some new products out there that are peek and stick, that were traditionally applied with a "hot mop ". I'll find some links and add them I saw them doing a roof in Colombia last week .they were pulling the 20 ft long 4 feet wide sheets directly out of a Maersk shipping container in a flatbed. Likely from china.

  9. The attic needs ventilation.. The ceiling decking needs insulation. If you can simply keep the attic near the outside temp., you are doing well.  An attic could be 170f if unvented.  Use reflective elastomeric coatings for near flat roofs..
