The first and second paragraph also have a different meaning. The first says it will be over, the second says it will decrease.

And then the second paragraph says we will see a decrease by the end of January but then this paragraph below says it has already happened this week.

Read the link, it makes more sense.

But it does say "could" and not "will". "could" is much safer if it turns out that he's wrong.

    and think on that fact...

90% people feel GREAT, have no idea they have this "crippling disease" but it's cause for shutdown of whole countries at whims of the leaders, and the enactment of any new laws they want to put into place.
    Sickening imo.

Goes to show you, like in Thailands case...if you don't test for it and then tell people they have been "infected"...

    life is completely normal.  smh.

You hit the nail straight on the head there. Without media, there is no virus ????

It's the norm here for untidiness, uncleanliness & rubbish is everywhere. The food prepared is no different as people will never meet european standards here, it is useless to try & enforce it. High end restaurants mainly run by europeans or trained Thai chefs who have worked abroad will probably meet the standards, but it's an uphill struggle to try & enforce cleanliness in most restaurants .......... for instance they sweep the floor whilst you are eating your meal!!???  The mentality & mindset is just not there ....... wearing plastic gloves whilst serving food & fruit in the street may look good, but the gloves are taken off/put back on how many times a day?? Another ruling for the archives which will never be adhered to ...... they'll find a way of circumventing the ruling & carry on as before ...... fact.

It's more important to sqeeze your spots so that at least you look clean before serving food.

Don't need touch less toilets.  Just toilets with sinks with soap and warm  water.   I see all these restaurants washing dishes in tubs using a hose with chickens, dogs, and cats,  and rats around.

Also working hand dryers would be a good idea. Saw a woman in Tesco food hall Phuket rinsing a floor mop in the same sink that dishes are washed so a bit of education and/or training wouldn't hurt either.

Firstly, why is a tourism chief wearing a uniform, secondly does anyone believe a word TAT say?

They need to stop thinking that Chinese tourists are the best thing since sliced bread and take their blinkers off.

I know more than 39 westerners who used to spend way more than 400k when they used to visit as tourists. Me being one of them.

Most ex-pats don't spend that much in a year ????

Sorry, as you edited your comment after I had replied ....your question  needs an answer  ????

Do I think I am special ? Oh no no albeit my partner does think so along with all my friends

But don’t worry, one day you might find someone looking at you with esteem. It is just like love, it is there somewhere but some are luckier than others

I will leave you there and let you agree with yourself...but let’s not forget that criticism is constructive ( I hope you understand)

    Enjoy

Never forget "" Nobody is special"

I was. Oh dear, did you think you were special too?

Nobody is special. The only person I ever met who was stupid enough to be a "Thai Elite" member, told me and actually believed himself, that he was jesus. ????????????. He also boasted that he never pays for anything, eventually got deported and still owes me 5000 baht ????
