The light at the end of the tunnel are vaccines, and for those who take them, you will be rewarded and get your vaccine passports to travel and life will be back to normal.
We can then live happily ever after.
This fear can be kept going for as long as anyone wants it to. A virus such as Covid can and will change. The change can be used to instill more fear if that is what anyone wants to do.

If, as you imply, your computer is several years old then it will probably be best to replace it. I would assume the internal problem can be repaired but it may need a new motherboard depending upon what the problem actually is.
If this is the case a new laptop will be the best way way to go as the repair could be very costly

It is NOT just the obese or people with underlying health conditions. Please educate yourself.
You use all the news channels that have been shown to spread false information

There have throughout the ages been the concept of Gods. It is mostly so people can lay the blame on a God entity so they don't have to take responsibility for events that are out of their control.

So you can't go to a public park? An outdoor venue that's usually lightly populated as Thai people, for the most part don't use them.. too hot and they don't like walking in the heat.
And darn, there goes my gym. Probably. Since I live in Pattaya, they are allowed to open until 9pm.. but will probably adopt this Bangkok strategy
Gyms increase the health of the users and should remain open I agree

The virus is real. However cases are being considered as hospitalisations and deaths which they are not. You can have the virus feel a bit under the weather for a while and then feel fine. The people who are at risk are those who are obese or have underlaying health problems.

We had an invasion about three weeks ago. The Wife said it was the warm weather. I said "Oh, are they coming on holiday"
The slightest drop of anything left in the kitchen was pounced on in minutes, the worst being the tiny ones at about half a millimetre.
The place was covered in white ant chalk but perseverance paid off in the end.
How much did you pay Perse Verance?

165 - 200 ms is normal to UK. 200 ms doesn't mean server is loaded.
200 ms used to be normal, but with Seamewe5 in use, latency has dropped on 3BB. TOT switched to SMW5 months or a year ago.
It isn't heavily loaded at that timing but really you need to know exactly the route the signal is going to get an accurate value
-
It depends entirely on the route the PING is taking and just how busy the server is. 200mS is not fast but it does seem that the server is quite heavily loaded

The thing they are criticized fr is in being selective as to who is allowed to do pretty much anything. Example when they crowd was pulling statues down the police did very little if anything they just stood there and let it happen. things like this are why they are criticized.
They were not so quick to round up the grooming gangs despite knowing who they were.

With whom do you have a Thai account? I'm sure all main Thai banks have on-line banking facilities.
I have been living abroad, with no UK address for the last 15 years but my UK bank has not threatened to close my account so far. I do keep it active.
However, if you do wish to close your UK account, I'd suggest a borderless account with Wise. (formally TransferWise) You can have any UK incomes, such as pensions paid directly into there and then transfer your money into your Thai account. I've been doing this for 2 years now without a hitch.
And in multiple currencies within the same account. I have in my Wise account Sterling, Thai Baht and Euros. Used it for over a year now and never had a problem. From my experience it is excellent.

In some respects it is good especially when you consider Block Chain. However, with so many under the table transactions going on by various governments around the world I think it is highly unikely it will achive the potential that it has on paper.

Unless you are a person who believes bing obese is a good thing the rest of the world know it is bad. Doctors will never tell you being obese is a good thing. If anyone here considers that doctors believe obesity is a good thing please provide the reference

Never go to the internet for looking up a medical condition. Unless you are qualified in medicine it will just make you panic as you will invariably think you have something that you dont

That has been known for quite a while so why is this suddenly news? Cant people read what the facts are. Go online and look for the facts will tell you that obiese people and people with underlaying medical conditions are most at risk.
Maybe if everyone understood this then the use of the word "case" could be clarified i.e. a cse is when someone has the virus. This does not mean they are in hospital or have died from it.
Taking the analogy with other viruses, maybe a lockdown in needed for people with colds or cases as they are lovingly referred to.

I have been with Bangkok Bank and never had any problems with them. Some will say they have and I am sure they are telling their experience. Also remember that Bangkok Bank is the largest bank in Thailand.
