  1. <<At the time of her arrest, Diersten denied all charges, claiming to be a businesswoman who had been defrauded by an Australian man, the husband of the Thai businesswoman and father of the targeted child. Diersten stated that she had invested approximately 185 million baht with the man, alleging that he had defrauded her and then falsely accused her of the kidnap plot to avoid repaying his debts.

Diersten further claimed to have met the Lebanese man in Dubai previously and explained her failure to report her entry into Thailand was due to safety concerns. Following her arrest, she was transferred into the custody of Thong Lor Police Station, reported Bangkok Post.>>

Australian? Lebanese? Frogs for dinner? WTF?

  2. <<Beyond tangible costs and regulations, a subtler shift in Thailand's perceived image may be at play. Some British tourists mention concerns about overdevelopment in certain areas, diminishing authenticity, and occasional reports of scams or incidents targeting foreigners. While these issues might not be widespread, they can contribute to an overall impression that influences a traveler's decision-making process.>>

OK. It is all Thailand's fault.

I've seen a lot of lunatics in Phnom Penn and Siem Reap also, especially these last couple of years.

Local Cambodians have noticed and commented about the foreigners who can no longer maintain the financial conditions to stay in Thailand.

I can not imagine being a foreigner and not having any money in Thailand. Foreigner + no money = BIG loser.

Presumably these lung cancers are in people who have been exposed to poor AQ for some decades......imagine the situation in...say...another 10 years.....AQ worse, population increasing, age profile getting older.....BUT....will this be of any concern to Baloo, Taksin et al.?....nope!

I am sure that it has nothing to do with the "vaccines". All those lung cancers just spiked from nowhere.

Certainly the number of west European tourists is very low.

Apart from what I see with my own eyes when around and about, I recently flew from London with Ettihad. The London - Abu Dhabi leg was ram packed. The Abu Dhabi - Phuket leg was 10% full, if that.

So wherever those people on the Londo flight were going, it certainly wasn’t Phuket.

Maybe because all the Westerners are bringing back home their Thai wives. In my county there is at least ten Thai restaurants.
