Shout out to the Grand Palazzo in Pattaya. They picked me up from Bangkok, got me tested in Pattaya and had the results back to me 4 hours later. I felt very bad about leaving so soon.

On the plus side, PIH is usually completely empty and has easy parking. On the downside, they charge ridiculous sums for things like PCR (THB 4000) or $3 antigen tests (THB 2500). Also, everything takes a really long time.

If you are in Thailand, you could try what I did. I showed my documents (1st AZ in Thailand, 2nd in the UK) to a Thai doctor and she wrote me a medical certificate for B700. Got me into Ko Samui (from Bangkok)..

Update: a medical certificate from a doctor confirming my two vaccinations (one in Thailand, one in UK) was enough to get me onto the plane to Ko Samui.

Update on my experience. I’m vaccinated once in Thailand and once in the UK, both AZ. Obviously Mor Phrom only shows the 1st shot. I spoke to a doctor at Pattaya International Hospital and she reviewed my documents. They printed me a certificate for THB 700. (Side note: the hospital is quiet and empty but everything seems to take a very long time.)
Hopefully this will get me on a flight to Ko Samui.

Farangs (Russian) sold me a car. Got it checked by the driving centre garage. 3rd party (Thai) involved said no accident. After sale, next garage I went to said it had “too much accident”. The 3rd party had also offered to update my green book for me for B5000 and after many calls has still not given the book back. I now have no tax and she won’t answer my calls. Not a violent crime but sucks to be the victim. Any suggestions by the way?

Any reason why? Is it because more things are open than in other parts of Thailand?
I thought vaccination rates were much higher in Phuket or is that more hotel staff, etc?

What if I got first in Thailand and 2nd in UK? Is it still possible to get proof of 1st vaccination? All I have from the Thai hospital is a photo of the 1st jab paperwork and the appointment for the second (which I missed due to being in quarantine). UK have finally updated my records to show I got the 2nd there.

I got AZ in Thailand then AZ in the UK. Any suggestions as to how I get some sort of paperwork or passport to travel, etc? UK won’t help me out, even though I provided all the evidence. So do I just have to get a 3rd in Thailand in order to get some usable evidence?
