  1. To me , the "friend" report sounds a little fishy. I imagine this scenario: Guy is drinking, gets in fight with friend... Friend bashes in guy's face, he doesn't mean to kill him (maybe he does) .... thinks if a way to "hide" the bashed in face... Oh ya, the guy always lays with head in tracks, that's normal
  2. In the USA , I was in a class once, the instructor was a cop, so I asked him: "if I was at a bar, and instead of driving home, I slept in my car, would I still get a DUI?" His reply: "If I can find your keys, then you are capable of operating the vehicle, and yes, you would get a DUI. But, if I cannot find your keys, then you are not physically capable of operating the vehicle. Tell you what, hide your keys in the wheel-well of your tire, no cop is ever going to look for them there, then just tell the cop you left your keys with the bartender."
  3. In 2018, I bought brand new Honda Click 150cc . I paid 61,000 Baht. That also covered the number plate and insurance for a year.
  4. If you ARE Vaccinated.... Why are you concerned or scared about him not being vaccinated? Are you saying that your Vaccination is not working?
  5. You CAN test as Positive on a PCR Test up to 90 days after you have had COVID-19. That would seriously ruin someone's vacation if they landed, then tested Positive.
  6. I have 2 Phizer Vaccination shots. Cost me $200 for a PCR Test to fly for work..... was "Positive " Had to contact my employer and tell them. Ticket would be delayed until I tested Negative. Within the next 2 weeks, I PCR tested 7 times at 2 other places, was no cost, but could not get results back for 3 days ( ot possible to use for travelling)... ALL Tests came back as Negative. Let my Employer know and they booked tickets. Had to pay a other $200 for a other PCR Test so u could fly. I made sure to tell them that I had the 7 Negative results.... guess what, .... test came back Negative.
  7. Here is my take on it. My wife and I moved to Thailand in November 2017. Both from USA, in 40's, I work in Saudi Arabia (so, I was always coming and going). She got an ED -Visa for Learning Thai Language. I added up the total cost of everything.... Her School, the Visa Cost, air tickets for us to leave Thailand for ger Visa, Rented Condo, the costs for ger to use a Grab while I was at work.... I added up the entire, total costs. That all came up to between $3500-4000 a year. We had to move back to USA June of 2020 (I could not travel for work, COVID-19 shutdowns). We DO plan to move back to Thailand in the Future. We also will be getting the Family Elite Visa for 800,000 Baht instead of doing the ED-Visa. Why? ... my wife also hates hates hates dealing with the Immigration constantly. Plus the cost difference is minimal.... $3,500 a year for only her to have a Visa vs $5,000 a year(average) for us Both to have an Elite Visa.
  8. Before we left the USA, we set up our Bank Accounts as: Primary Account - where my paycheck goes into. 2nd Account - Account we used in Thailand 2nd Account limit was raised so that we could take up to $1000 per day, per card (2), but we had to sign a thing that the Bank was not responsible for any fraudulent transactions. We also signed a thing that would not allow any transaction for more than what was in the Account... so, if there is only $120 in the account, that is all that could me charged. When we would take out money, the wife would transfer money from the Primary Account to the Secondary Account, then from a BKK Bank ATM, I would take out 25K on one card, then 25K on the other.
