  1. https://dimitriadisoptics.gr/en/p/2569-mcq-mq0001s-sunglasses.html Idk man they are for sale for between 50-150 USD everywhere...
  2. Great, they will just produce giant meth tablets u can break in small pieces then. brainiacs ????
  3. lol as if that small truck with disposable ecigd is worth a million usd as they claim. Also as if there's not more pressing issues at the thai malay border region... all this pseudo crimes and small scale criminals could be made irrelevant by simply legalizing and taxing vaping...
  4. Nitpicking... low frequencies also travel through concrete etc. "Soundproof" glass is used in every recording studio, usually 2 layers of different thickness. With absorption class 6 u get 50db+ absorption depending on frequencies. You can either use above mentioned different thickness panes or laminated security glass as explained here: https://www.cgc-jp.com/products/search_category/architecturalglass/bouon.html#:~:text=There are two types of,combines soundproofing and security performance. But even normal double glazed thick windows will help you a lot as long as you also use GOOD PROFILES where the glass is installed. If you use chinese made stuff and the best glass in there won't help you.
  5. I use Schueco (german brand) aluminium profiles and double glazed safety glass everywhere. Keeps all noise out for us. https://www.schueco.com/my-sliding-door/panorama-design these models basically. They are in Thailand, profiles are made in germany, glass gets made here afaik.
  6. My gf has a B1 visa (temp business) and the max stay is 180 days stay can be extended to max 1 year. B2 visa (tourist) is max 180 days per stay, can't be extended afaik. I can only stay 90 days on my esta visa free thing (german passport).
  7. Burmese, unlike indians, like other ASEAN countries can get work permits here super easy, you just need a thai sponsor, no company nor nothing. Way easier than for us westerners.
  8. Zippbike has it for delivery, think they only deliver to bkk tho: https://beverage.zippbike.com/products/beer-lao-ipa-cbeer Wishbeer normally has it in stock, they deliver countrywide, but right now it seems sold out. You need to make an account on most sites because they are b2b only, but that only takes a minute...
  9. Ever thought of installing a watertank that gets filled from village water and an additional pump between water tank and water supply that makes sure u have enough pressure? village water -> pump -> water tank -> pump -> water supply line
  10. Same for me, on ios with icloud backups tho. Not sure what would happen if i would set up everything from scratch, might be a different experience.
  11. They do... also in Phuket. And yes thais help too, but it's mostly outside thais/tourists/or those who moved there, while those who earn money at the beach don't care. Those who own all the fancy beachfront land have it cleaned up by visitors... But as said already, this should be paid for by taxes and organized by local governments.
  12. This isn't trash people throw away on the islands, this is mostly ocean trash from fishing boats, rivers etc. Much of the stuff is from Vietnam as they dump it in the Mekong at least in the Gulf of Thailand. Why Thais (or anyone else who earns money at the beach) should pick it up is quite simple, they run the coconut bars/beach bars/hotels at the beaches where where the trash is...
  13. Every god damn island here is cleaned by foreigners/immigrants/tourists, look up trash hero thailand. As always thais come for nothing but a photo and PR, how about use ur 2 bloody arms and pickup trash urself man...
  14. yeah they are, but if u sell them as weed vaporizers they might not be....
  15. yes, but maybe if they use them for weed they are legal /o/ It does not make any sense, nothing here does...
  16. yes sure it could, indonesia has 99 year leases: https://balipropertydirect.com/ownership-titles-freehold-and-leasehold/ If they get sold back to a indonesian citizen they convert back into freehold titles, that would be a chanote or whatever in our case. There's no competence here, no will to do something remotely attractive.
  17. Of course there is. What an absolute nonsense comment.
  18. Worse man, i have some long term visas and residencies in there, getting a new passport would be a major pain involving traveling and reapplying to different countries... Complete non-sense, they have a database with everyone who entered and can easily see who's on overstay and specifically search for these. Real motivation as always is related to $
  19. https://dancham.or.th/sap-ing-sith-act/ They came up with this sap in sith act, where the thing can be resold, if that was 99 years duration and could be converted back to chanote or something in case a thai buys it, it would be well enough... otherwise theres lifelong usufructs/superficies anyway. But yeah you are absolutelt right, they don't F**** get it, i could walk in a random irish pub and select random drunks that would come up with a better sheme within 10 minutes.
  20. Quite a few, but they would most likely prefer to put these 40 mio THB into the house. And those who have much more to spare where money doesn't matter, they for sure have better things to do as crossing off checklists from some nonsense thai requirements. It's literally easier to go through Investment visas or golden visas in major countries like the US or Spain then dealing with this <deleted>, that doesn't give you any long term reward like citiztenship, unlike every other country with investment visas...
  21. Good general info on usufructs If land office refuses u might have luck with superficies instead or as already mentioned a lease, otherwise taking a lawyer to a land office often changes their tune (personal experience).
  22. Wouldn't it be 280 mio thb per rai 50 000 000 000 / 178 The numbers they used makes no sense, maybe for direct beachfront land in phuket u get 2x mio thb per rai but that's about it
  23. First i thought this might have something to do with certain unwelcome NGOs here that use volunteer visas and them not wanting "these" people here. But now it def. seems like they have a problem with people that use visa-loopholes... Personally i think they are super over the top, if they had such a big issue with these guys they wouldn't be in thailand....
