Pib, Lexilis (& others),
As I've been monitoring this thread for some time now -- and had back-and-forth discussions with Bangkok Bank New York Branch (BBNY) a few years ago when they were directed to stop accepting USA domestic ACH transfers to BBNY for further routing to our Bangkok Bank accounts here in the Kingdom (because of the non-IAT format issue) -- curiosity finally won out.
This week, I initialized a test transfer from my Wise "Borderless" (...or whatever they call it this week) USD account to my Bangkok Bank account here in the Kingdom via BBNY.
The Result: A successful International Transfer with associated FTT passbook coding.
Some items of interest to consider with Wise. When setting up a new Wise recipient, I set up the recipient as: (1) a USD Account (recipient); (2) for the recipient's 'Account Holder Name', I used my name exactly as it is shown on my Bangkok Bank passbook; (3) for the 'Recipient Type', I selected "Private"; (4) for the 'ACH Routing number', I used 026008691; (5) for the 'Account Number', I used my Bangkok Bank account number; (6) for 'Account Type', I designated it as a savings account; and (7) for the recipient's address, I used my current Thailand address (which matches the address Bangkok Bank has on record for my account).
(All Thailand Time): I initiated the Wise transfer at 13:46 PM on Tuesday, November 16th, and received the SMS from Bangkok Bank at 09:12 AM this morning, Thursday, November 18th alerting me of an international deposit of funds from abroad into my account.
My test transfer was for $19.49 USD (Wise takes a 0.51 fee out for ACH transfers, in this instance from my $20 test transfer). So, Wise sent $19.49 to BBNY (no fee was sliced off there because my transfer was under $50 USD). BBNY relayed $19.49 to my in-Thailand Bangkok Bank account, where Bangkok Bank's TT Buying Rate this morning at 08:30 AM of 32.48 was used. 32.48 times 19.49 equals 633.04. Now time to apply the in-Thailand receiving fee....0.25% times 633.0352 equals Bt1.58, which is below the Bt200 minimum fee, therefore, Bt200 was subtracted from the 633.04 -- which resulted in Bt433.04 posted to my account as an international transfer.
When an 'International Transfer' designation is desired/required, we now have another transfer tool for use. Nice.

Hi,
No problem sending you the info, I actually sent it just now > so look in your PM-messages.
The main reason I prefer sending all of the Guideline documents I compiled PM is that it allows me to integrate any user-feedback when updating the document. Having sent the info PM, it is then easy to contact me when users have questions or suggestions for improvement, and so when interested TVF-members contact me first time they always get the latest version of the document.
Hi Peter, would you please send me the TM30 info via PM as well? Thanks in advance!

These low daily SARS-CoV-2 numbers continue to impress. Hospitals are not overwhelmed. Well done Thailand! Time to start relaxing a few overly-cautious/heavy-handed restrictions, indeed.

Combined with today's report of only 314 patients remaining at hospitals throughout the country, these low daily SARS-CoV-2 numbers continue to impress. Generous testing or not, very encouraging news.
The decision(s) looming at next week's cabinet meeting are enormous; remarkable and divisive they will be.

Fantastic! Trending nicely towards a modest return to some normalcy on May 1st...or so we hope...
Big decision(s) loom!

Thailand, which has reported 2,792 virus infections and 47 deaths, has imposed a night curfew, having closed malls and banned passenger flights to limit spread of the disease.
...and concurrently implemented an alcohol ban for the balance of April to staunchly combat the Chinese virus.
The financial support outlined above for farmers and small/medium size businesses would be an outstanding gesture; most needed.
As the daily numbers continue to encourage, hope springs eternal a modest return to normalcy can/will be realized in early May.
Big decision(s) ahead.

Brilliant news as we approach late-April! Could a modest return to some normalcy in May be within reach? If low numbers continue, it will be ambiguous not to see that eventuality. Big decision(s) ahead!

“Intelligence is about acquiring information which has been concealed from you by other states and other actors, there was a brief period in December and January when the Chinese were indeed concealing this from the West.”
And, apparently concealing this from the Chinese people at large as they were preparing to commence their lunar new year travels in-country and out; rendering them completely unaware of the potential perils that lie ahead.
History cannot be kind to those withholding such pertinent information from their own kin, not to mention the global population as a whole.

????♂️ Aliens who are due for 90 days reports between 26th of March 2020 and 30th of April 2020 are temporarily exempted from reporting in this period until further notice.
---------------------------------------------------------
The below is provided for those in Bangkok interested in a current April 10, 2020 online submission example/reference.
---------------------------------------------------------
Fully aware of the above listed temporary exemption, I decided to submit my online 90-day report to CW immigration this morning anyway, curious to see if CW would take any action on it.
It was accepted, and approved within 90 minutes; consistent with previous online submissions.
Of note, the 'Receipt of Notification' received with today's approval does show a July 2020 date as the next report date, as expected.

We all can agree this dissenting opinion by the Supreme Court justice was inappropriate; why feel the need to publish it?

At this point, in my personal opinion, pretty much anybody other than Trump (among the Democrats) would be a vast improvement over the lying scumbag who currently holds the office. Heck, the White House janitor probably would be a big improvement too, considering the alternative. So I'd be content to take almost any of them...
However, while that might be my personal, individual view, the reality is:
--a majority of the U.S. isn't going to elect a gay former small town mayor as president.
--a majority of the U.S. isn't going to elect a self declared socialist as president.
--a majority of the U.S. probably is going to have problems electing most female candidates as president, because, like it or not, there are still enough neanderthals out there who believe a woman isn't capable to be president (enough to swing the scales to a loss in a close race).
So what are we left with that has any reasonable likelihood of beating Trump? That's the conundrum. Sure, nominate Bernie as the Democratic presidential candidate, and you can start printing your tickets to the Trump inauguration ceremony for 2020.
The country, in my opinion stupidly, is far more divided than it ought to be, because too many ordinary American have drunk the right-wing Kool-Aid that Trump and Co. are going to make life better for them -- which they haven't and won't. So the reality is, for a Democrat to win the presidency these days, it has to be someone who can win over the independents and the middle-America wishy-washy Democrats. Without that, the Dems are SUNK!
Your 1st paragraph is utter rubbish! Surely you did not mean to type that.
Your 2nd paragraph is hard to debate.
Your 3rd paragraph is spot-on; a conundrum indeed.
Your 4th paragraph is...well...the first sentence is an opinion brazenly worn on your sleeve a majority would not and will not agree with; the second & third sentences are spot-on.

I disagree it’s painfully obvious trump is corrupt to anyone with a clear head that goes way beyond political party that speaks to the preservation of our democracy as far as Bernie Sanders he is not my choice but I will vote for him over trump in a heart beat and depend on our system of checks and ballences to keep him from going to far
This is an unfortunate comment.
It sadly shines light on those whose personal bias toward an individual mask any reasonable attempt to type a lucid, compelling perspective.

A good, thorough report from Reuters describing spot-on statements from the WHO director-general.
Many wish he and his organization had the foresight to say these things a week or so earlier.
With the 2003 SARS legacy not far away in historical reference, one hopes the WHO becomes a more forward-leaning, proactive global institution during future medical dilemmas.

Thai immigration online 90 day reporting system
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
TallGuyJohnny, lopburi3, et al -
From personal experience, here are some data points on CW here in BKK.
I have submitted 90-Day online reports to CW since they went live with their new website in December 2021. Generally, a very efficient process. My online report submissions to CW have always been on the first day eligible upon receiving their email reminder (i.e., 15 days prior).
In 2022, I submitted five 90-Day online reports to CW and received approval the next day in 4 of those 5 online submissions. The exception was in Jul22, where it took 5 days to receive approval.
In 2023, I have submitted four 90-Day online reports to CW. In Mar23, approval was received the next day after my online submission. In May23, approval was received 4 days after my online submission. In Jul23, approval was received 11 days after my online submission. On October 13th, I submitted my latest 90-Day report online to CW. Today, October 25th, I received approval 12 days after my online submission.
Although taking much longer these past several months, the approvals do continue to arrive before report expiration(s).
