Not sure what all the fuss is about, I just put my phone and fags in a plastic bag and if I get splashed then it's funny (and refreshing).

Make an account on Bitkub or Binance and transfer your funds there, enter your bank details and withdraw.

I used to work in an office on the 24th floor and there would be ants there. They were all probably born high up and won't see the ground in their life time.

I went to BKK immigration last week and it was the quietest I remember it being. I arrived around 8am and got number 251. Which is pretty good. Only 30 odd people ahead of me waiting for non-b renewal. Still took like 3 hours though.

Hasn't the EU said they wouldn't accept an independent Scotland? The membership requirements aren't met. Even if they could rejoin the rules to join would be strict and it wouldn't happen over night, I assume the UK will have to pay to sustain Scotland while they wait to enter the EU. Also, the irony of "Independence" but under the thumb of the EU isn't lost on me.

My landlady has a history of ripping me off via electricity so I shan't hold my breath. That said, I've asked the gf to talk to her in regards to how much, if any deductions we might expect. My power bill is usually 4 to 5k a month (one aircon, only on at night), I'm hoping I don't get too much of a shock at the end of the month.

I'm curious what most people think they need 1Gbp/s tier speeds for. Unless you're into some serious stuff or torrenting like a champion it seems wholly unnecessary.

Amazon. Lazada and Shoppee don't hold a candle to it.

My understanding is that even a day late is too late. Once on the last possible day I managed to get my work permit to the Labour department just before they closed and they were nice enough to hold onto it and allow me to come collect it (updated) again the next day.

I use Linux & Windows. The only real way Mac out performs Windows these days are for serious audio engineers / music producers. Viruses aren't the concern they once were and the vast majority of software out there is developed for Windows first. I see no reason to own a Mac.

I like to live life on the edge, if I'm not risking a seizure when scrolling too fast then I'm not happy.

There's also a big board of numbers for restaurants you can call for delivery.

As I'm still working, getting to the office & going home on the MRT is fantastic. No queues, not crammed in shoulder to shoulder. I'll miss that when things get back to normal.

They're just reopening Wuhan, so watch closely for the answer.

Looking like it's not going to happen.

I was thinking more along the lines of our home governments helping nationals abroad. Any precedent on this?

Worth pointing out that I've seen a few in Bangkok with 'you have to wear a mask' signs on the door.
Why do you live in Thailand?

I moved here at 22, I don't know how to function as an adult back home, this is all I know.
