Call me what you want as long as I can call you Mr Yaris
Fact is she went from restaurant to watch the full moon. The only legal access is if you are a tenant or owner in Cape Yamu Village.
Or a canoe/boat
I think it is a fair question; why did these 2 ladies really want to go on a public beach, which is difficult to get to?
No bars, no music, no toilets, but a lot of trouble to get onto a public beach of rich people. Everything is ok, since nobody needs a toilet (just one example). Right? but not my business..- 2

She was on PUBLIC land, did here friend live in the area....
The beach area is public, any resident would KNOW that, anybody can use it..
A to B..None of your business, she/they were not on private property...........Gawd 'elp us........🙄
I agree and understand. But how did she go from A to B unless she has access through an estate in Cape Yamu?
First report mentioned that she talked to a security guard on the beach. I dont think there are many security guards on this beach after a dinner?- 3

He was paying a lot more than 1 Baht rent, or did you mean 1 Billion Baht. Either way, you are way off.
And that was the most intelligent part of your post
1b thb = 1 billion for the top estates in this village.
Mr. Fehrs is one of the smaller ones = most likely correct with 1m thb per month (m = million) -

Oh yeah, what an assault without any real injury.
I don't know the guy, but 1b thb estates on a private peninsula should expect some kind of privacy.
How did she go from A (restaurant) to B (famous footsteps) after a dinner.- 1

Has anybody mentioned corruption regarding his business, certainly not me...? 😋
Has any of his businesses been charged of anything? I don't think so, but they have been heavily inspected the past month.

possible solutions you are mentioning.
Nope, not Swiss, but should he be kicked out based on this small incident with no injury? Nothing has been mentioned about corruption in his businesses?- 1

Gawd..................🤔
You forgot, was she on public land and get kicked by a Mr. Angry that didn't know the boundary of the place he rents..............?
The village and land is private where the beach is public.
Is it ok if she trespassed through the village and a private house?
Anyways, no injuries done. The case is overblown by a mile or two.- 5

Is it ok to question how the victim/poor Doctor and her friend went from A to B?
1. Is her father/family an owner/tenant in Cape Yamu village? = she has legal access from A to B by feet.
2. Did she trespass security + walked through a private villa to get to this very important public beach?
3. Did she drive/walk 4km and then walked 1.5km along the beach after dinner to gain legal access?
4. By boat?
To me it seems like she has a very long nose and might have interest in how the super-rich live in a private village, though with a public beach. (which is not easily accessible).- 1

How come nobody questions how the Doctor and her friend got from Yamu Taste restaurant to the north/west side beach of Cape Yamu?
Did they trespass the security guard and then walked through a private estate to get to the public beach? Or did they drive 4km and then walked 1.5km along the north shore? No doubt Mr. Fehrs was wrong with his very hostile reaction, but the Doctor did something special to get to this public beach.
Only to watch a full moon after dinner? It doesn't make any sense and I think she had an agenda. Or walked via Mr. Fehrs property to the public beach, which upset him before the confrontation.- 6

It is off course absolutely not ok to kick, shub or accidentally fall onto someone, but deportation without any real damage on the Doctor?
Why is nobody questioning how the Doctor and friend came from Taste Yamu Restaurant to the beach on the east side of Yamu?
It looks like it is a private village and security/entrance is just next to Taste Yamu, but even after passing the security guard the only way to the beach is through private villas.
Or 4km by car and 1.5km along the beach at low tide. It was low tide, but how did the 2 ladies plan to get back to public road in this case?
Or a boat?"Could" she be a very clever Doctor with a very long nose, looking for an alternative income?
Public beach is off course what it is, but it looks like there are very limited "legal" entrance options to this public beach?
How can they walk to this side of the beach legally? Seems like a long walk only for watching the full moon?

5-10sec freeze and sound out of sync have been a problem for a long time.
If I watch a movie and it happens, I remember the time, go back and restart the movie.
If I watch catch up of something with commercials it usually works by jumping to just after the buffer marker.
No issues on live programs except occasional 5sec freeze.A bit annoying, but hdprime is still a very nice TV/Movie option.

Nang Ram Beach (Sattahip Navy) and Samae San offers amazing snorkeling and the water is far from polluted.
Atoll Farm in Rayong (saltwater fish breeder) is highly respected in the world and one of the few who has successfully bred Pygmy Angelfish. He pays a boat to bring 5000L of sea water from Samae San once a week.Serene Phala has a very nice 100x50m clean beach. Live music on the beach on most days and a great beach bar. (not close to any nightlife).

CNX to SIN is on Scoot(SIA's low cost carrier). Scoot uses an old A320 for this segment. The experience with Scoot from CNX to SIN was less than impressive. Do you know what type of aircraft is from SIN to BNE? It could be B777, B787 or A350-900? Aircraft type would probably answer your question.
I have not flown with Singapore Airlines to Australia, but with Thai. Bangkok-Brisbane was an A350 with flatbed arrangement. Return was an older aircraft with around 40 degree seat decline (horrible in comparison).
Good input. Check aircraft model before booking and chose dates with newer aircrafts if you can.- 1

We changed from 125i to 160i when the 160 click was released.
I dont feel much difference between the two, but our Gartner loves it and already put 18k on the 160i.160i pulls a bit harder and feels a bit larger than 125i = I think better stability if you have a passenger.
The key fob was tricky in the beginning, but it is pretty simple. Keep the key fob in your pocket. PUSH IN and turn the knob to unlock front wheel/ready to start. I would prefer a good old mechanical key, but we had no problems with the key fob so far and it is nice it can be kept in the pocket.ABS on the front wheel is a nice safety factor compared to 125i and one of the reasons I wanted to change.
Small wheels + sand + turn + braking is quite dangerous with 14" wheels.

100% is should be part of their trip. If you don’t do it, you haven’t experienced Bangkok. I’m not talking about single males looking for easy women. I’m referring to people who actually want to experience the essence of Bangkok.
On a 4 day trip it is mandatory - according to OP/topic?
Sure if OP and guests has time for that and a brilliant host like yourself.

The ‘experience’ of seeing Bangkok via the waterways. Not being an experienced person ????????♂️☺️Sure, it is almost mandatory on a 4 day Bangkok trip for a couple in the mid 40s.
Now you comment OP's thread as we = I can only wish you guys a great trip. -

If at least one, that’s good enough. Thank you for asking. I think Centrepoint Silom by the riverside is the best overall. Spacious, luxurious, excellent travel connections; both by river and via BTS.
Sukhumvit is just inner city and it would be inconvenient to reach the old city from there.
Yes, but OP also mention the couple would like to visit roof top bars = near Sukhumwit was just a suggestion from my side. And Soi 8 is not sleazy if you ask me, if they want to stay in Bangkok, then it is value for money close to BTS.
All in all I dont understand why you have to make so many comments, since you are not the OP. Let OP answer and try to make valid posts. -

I think we can all mention nice hotels outside the budget and criteria, but then that just clogs up the thread with useless posts… oh wait…
Exactly. There are perhaps two or three useful suggestions throughout the whole thread and the OP has to wade through it all. Pity.
You sir, stands for 33% of all posts, so if the OP has left the topic, then you are most likely a big contributor to this.? How many of your posts had any value to OP or anybody?

You stayed at the Landmark in Bangkok whilst working in Pakistan… Why would that information be useful to ANYONE and how, in your opinion, does it fit the criteria of perhaps avoiding lower Sukhumvit?
Ditto Stable Lodge…. Still lower Sukhumvit. 400 metres off the main road doesn’t make it better, you’d still need to go to the main road ????????♂️ In addition, perhaps not somewhere that would be impressive to a 40+ couple on their first visit. Fine for those on a tight budget who need to be on Sukhumvit. They don’t.
I made no comment with regard to your Sai Gon suggestion.Yes I stayed at Landmark hotel, because TG had 3 flights per day so my Pakistan work was fast in/out. I only mention it, because Landmark was nice. But value for money I preferred Stable Lodge, which was a horrific 10% from the budget and thereby you decide it is rubbish.
It was just my inputs, but I guess today I learned what a troll is and now I need to learn to stop feeding the troll who wish to answer all posts. Is soi 8 sleazy? or what you call it?

Only on rubbish posts and I have a life thank you. You recommended Landmark, which was absolutely pointless and I don’t know what is hard to understand with regard to AWAY from the sleazy areas.
So my post was rubbish? It was just my inputs and I think my single post was much more valuable, than your 28 posts in this thread. Or if you know it all, then please share your wisdom.
1800thb is only 200 thb per night from a 2000-3000thb requested target (10%). Are my inputs obsolete/rubbish, just because you deem they are?
OP also mention activities most of the 4 days = I would personally stay close to a Sukhumwit BTS station, unless I am driving around. Most of the really amazing high rise roof tops are located along Sukhumwit rd.
Is 400m up Soi 8 a "sleazy" area?

Is all that correct or just a guess? I have not seen any cases in regards of his businesses being corrupt.
The video with ambulance was incl. sound and no sirens. Even when he finally pulled to left the ambulance did not overtake him.
Where is the video or pictures of him showing a gun?
Are most of you just convicting him on an assault with no injury on the victim? and now most of you feel like he should be deported because he is rich?
Calling me a troll with only 111 posts is very clever.
This was just my opinion, and this is a forum where we are supposed to discuss any topics in a nice calm manner.
Thailand is about to deport a rich guy because of his wrong doings, but with no injury to the victim. Happy days as you say in UK.
