As with any business reliant on customers, the proof will be in the numbers and if you're selling something, then make it attractive to the largest number, if there is a genuine desire to revive the lives of Thais and their small business, that have been mostly and much more seriously by these restrictions.
Assuming every potential visitor has the funds for all of the extra financial obligations or the time to work out all of the changing requirements does not make that true.
In Bali, the partial and restrictive opening resulted in only a ripple of interest so international airlines booked a grand total of zero slots at Ngurah Rai airport - surely a successful model will emerge! Maybe not : )
The tourism minister from Bali was begging the airlines to fly there because no flights available.
Thailand is killing it in SEA!

10 k was ripped from my Bangkok bank account while I was OS.
Bank staff were rude and not interested in even following it up.
When I finally got through to the right person via phone I was told because it was over 120 days they couldn't do anything.
I don't think so that was just round one

Very true. The world is obsessed with stuffing down as much food as possible for the least amount of calories. If whole roast piglet had zero calories pigs would be extinct.

It's all very amusing.
I don't diet, I eat one meal a day and even that feels like to much in the tropics

He is the tourism minister and doesn't have the power to ban anything. Just moving his Jaws to sound important. Bar owners especially thai will do what they want however full moon parties are over but who cares. I'm hoping gogo bars make a comeback but I doubt this year

From what I can see so far the only difference between sandbox and Nov 1st is 1 PCR test and no need to stay in a SHA hotel
