Scenario

You are on a flight that is BKK bound, and upon landing , ( i guess this is where the test happens ) one of the passengers has proved positive.

Will the test take just 5 Minutes or 2 days to get a result.

The positive passenger has left the Airport, and infected half of BKK in 24 Hours

How do you then round up the other passengers, or will they just roam free to possible infect the entire nation.

There is no confusion for me as the details of how it will work have not been given yet. We will hopefully learn more on Thursday. I would like the COE etc removed but not sure it can be until the emergency decree is revoked.

I think the COE will be necessary if only to verify who has been vaxed and the only way to do that without fraud is by the Thai embassy in each country to properly verify it.

Yes it's been dropped to 7 from 14 if you are vaccinated after that your free to go anywhere. Best do a Facebook search of Phuket sandbox and Richard barrow in Thailand they are busy forums with up to date information

OP the COE is not the mountain of paperwork it's made out to be around these forums. You log on take some pics on your phone then upload and that took 2 hour for me. Pay for your flights and your 7 day SHA +Phuket hotel and they are all half price. Pay for 2 PCR tests and COVID insurance your done. 

If money is really tight then fair enough but apart from that have an enjoyable Phuket stay on your return

Seems to me they will keep trying, day by day, to float every idea/dream anybody can imagine to try to get tourists in, started already.

Would be a lot more if they dropped coe and sandbox on November 1st
