  1. Triumph. Yeah they were big in Canada and maybe USA, but they could (and should) have been bigger worldwide... Many of my friends who like rock never heard of them.
  2. I did it yesterday, just to update for those who might ask later (Phuket immigration - Patong beach office): - Need: passport, visa and stamp copies, filled TM7 form, 1 photo. - No need: TM30 (I had one, just in case), exit flight booking. * Arrive few minutes before they open 10am to queue (application done in 10 minutes), and return 1pm to pick it up (done in 5 minutes). * If you're coming from other area (like me), bring swim shorts & towel - beach is right behind the office 🙂 (mall was not enough to kill 2.5h lol)
  3. I was replying to that post only, he is using international Binance(.com).
  4. Hi, is return flight booking required for 30 days extension? (apart from TM7, TM30 and all the copies) I usually book it few days before leaving... If they need it, then I'd rather pay the agent to do it for me, than OnwardTicket (same price, no requirements, and saves time).
  5. It's good if you're in BKK... Here in Phuket I didn't try one yet, few of them are based in Bangtao which is a bit far from my south location, will check them out sooner or later. Seen few Russian money exchange offices with BTC logos, didn't check them out lol.
  6. Quick Google search shows it's a bit shady (Paxful clone, accounts on sale online etc...), and requires KYC... Did anyone try it here?
  7. Good question, will follow this thread.
  8. Is it Binance.com (international) or Binance.us (if you're USA citizen)? I used international Binance.com, got verified without problem (passport), but cannot buy (my Thai debit and credit cards keep denying the payment, same as HK cards), same case with Kraken... so my only way was to get my own wallet and run around looking for OTC options.
  9. Do you know any good OTC in Phuket? Checked Cryptopida in their office but they require passport copy for "just an internal KYC".
  10. Can't you read or comprehend? He was murdered, execution style.
  11. Dr. Yong is back... Get your biohazard suits ready folks.
  12. Did anyone got Tourist visa in Kuala Lumpur recently, I'm curious about actual processing time? Website says "2-3 working days" so I'm not sure if I can get visa on Friday if I apply Wednesday morning? (I can't make it on Tuesday) Thanks!
  13. Appointments are OK, just now I checked the first available dates are November 21-25, and I'm going to KL next month so the appointment booking will be easy... I was just wondering about other's experience regarding that tricky requirement for th the hotel payment & tax number.
  14. Hi, did anyone recently apply for tourist visa at Thai embassy in KL? I'll be in KL for a week in December, so I'd like to try it while I'm there. There's that infamous requirement: "Proof of payment for the hotel (receipt must state the tax payer number of the relevant hotel)". I (like everyone else) will book the hotel on Booking or Agoda, where some hotels doesn't need any prepayment.. But to make them happy, I can book the hotel with prepayment option (and cancel later)... But there's still that part "hotel's tax payer number", how to go around that? It's impossible since we're dealing with booking website, and not with the hotel directly... Or should I just show them Booking / Agoda PDF confirmation printout? One guy did it earlier this year and it was OK... So I'm looking for more recent experiences, thanks! :-)
  15. @pomchop hi OP, just wondering how did your Thai visa attempt in Saigon went, all good or you had to go to another place / country?
  16. Is getting Thai visa easier in Laos than in Vietnam? (OP is in Vietnam currently) Just curious, thanks.
  17. Thanks God the East Europeans and Balts in 80-90's were not like you, they decided to "make waves" and got rid of Soviet shackles and bring down the USSR too, although it seemed mission impossible to many just a decade before that.
  18. Thanks for the update... Yeah they probably just don't want to do it... In BKB Central mall branch they told me that their "POS machine is broken" lol... Hope you'll get lucky in another bank and manager.
  19. Thanks all, so it's either 1 or 3 past statements, different for each embassy / consulate... So I'll email Budapest embassy to ask them, and will report here (if they reply).
  20. How many bank statements we need to show when applying for 60 days e-Visa, 1 month or more? Thai embassy in Hungary only says "bank statement" without specifying is 1 enough or not. I've seen some report says only 1 statement is ok, but some didn't. I'll plan accordingly and send $1k to my Croatia bank account (have not been there for years) to make sure it stays there long enough. Thanks!
  21. Yep you'll need to apply in one of the nearby embassies... Hope they will not ask to see the old passport (if new one is quite empty), like they are asking for e-Visa.
  22. I'll be in a similar boat like you OP, but I'm planning to be back in December... You got a new clean passport right? I wonder will they ask to see the old passport at the embassy during the application? (on e-Visa website they require "a copy of passport pages with past 12 months travel history", which could be a bit troublesome for us)
  23. Guys this question was already answered 3+ months ago when it was posted... Hopefully it will be helpful for others who search for this issue in the future... @BritTim Mods can close this thread thanks ????
