  1. Hi

My Non(O) 1 Year visa extension is due based on Thai Marriage in Bangkok.

I have already credited funds in my account for more than 3 Months from local sources due to my investments in local stock market.

Is there any new requirement that funds are to be remitted from another country and proof required as well like Remittance receipts etc,.

    Thanks

  2. I would like to add something about UK Immigration System: -

In 2017, my friend wanted a South African to work in his company  based in London. Immigration never asked any photocopy, only the real documents first time. They scanned and returned back. And every year have to take just few original documents 1 - Passport/  2 - Relevant Company Employment Letter. (with some supporting documents as well)

No photocopies., No visits. No extra work. and the process is repeated every year. and on 5th year the worker is eligible for Permanent residence. And in England system is so strong they can track and trace any worker within couple of hours.

If Thai Immigration would have been strong enough they would have dealt the situation in a better way. Unfortunately they are just firing their guns by using shoulder of foreigners. Do they think the criminals would be dealt like this way. Unfortunately Never. They have to mobilize their officers to work in field instead of sitting in offices. + collaborating with local/regional police offices. There is no coordination between Immigration DIV 2, Regional Immigration/Police Offices.

TM47 and TM30 is just the weak oriented system output of Thailand Immigration. People at the desk cannot speak ENGLISH to understand foreigners. I wonder what changes these guys will bring to the system.

  3. Hello fellow members

My date of Non(O) wife based visa extension is due on 01-Dec-19. In all these 06 years I always use to apply for extension a month prior to expiry date. and 02 Months before application submission I use to make sure that 400K Baht is present in my account. So usually they give 01 Month extension and after 01 month have to go again to get rest of 11 months stamps. So it counts to 03 Months of funds in the account. As last time once I went they told me to make sure you don't withdraw funds once you come to get your passport stamped for rest 11 months.

My question is, what should be the exact date to put funds in the account if I have to submit application a month prior to Visa expiry date as per immigration Rules.

    Thankyou.

  4. Background

I am on Non-O (Thai Wife) visa. Came back to Thailand from Singapore on 08-Jun-19 along with my wife on a week's long holiday trip. 03 months prior to our journey, my wife reported to Immigration on TM-30 form with my details of course as foreigner(myself) residing in the property that is in her name. As we moved to this new property a year back. We had to pay fine for late submission of TM-30.

    Questions

    1. Was she supposed to submit TM-30 form again after coming back from Singapore even though she submitted earlier and the address is the same?
    2. If I visit to another city in Thailand for certain number (Short Period) of days and stay in hotel then every time when we come back my wife has to submit TM-30?
    3. We both are keen cyclist and keep on visiting many cities across Thailand. In that case how TM-30 reporting should be managed?

I would be happy if precise answers with reference shared by respected members.

    Thanks and Regards

  5. Advice and Reference Requested (Immigration Rules)

    1. My 90 days Reporting is due on 03-Aug-19 and I am on Non-O Visa (extension).
    2. I went to Singapore with a Re-entry Visa on 1-June-19 and came back to Thailand on 8-June-19 respectively.

    Questions:

    1. Do I have to report to Immigration on 03-Aug-19 for 90 Days reporting or wait for 90 Days from the date I arrived from Singapore i.e., 8-June-19. And then go to Immigration for 90 Days Reporting. What exactly the rule say?
    2. Please provide any reference (Link) of Immigration rule in context to point 1 above.

    I would appreciate precise answers.

    Thanks and Regards

  6. I need some information regarding Health Insurance regarding marriage based extension in Thailand.

Is Health cover mandatory for Non-O Marriage Visa Extension Applicants who are 50+ or 50- in age bracket? What are the new rules as far age is concerned?

Would be lucky somebody can share a link of these new rules that clearly states Age Bracket clause regarding Health Insurance for Applicant's.

    Thanks

There is no requirement that you do the application one month before the date your extension expires. You can do it at any time during the last 30 days of your extension.

The 400k baht has to be in the bank for at least 2 months on the day you apply for the extension.

    Thanks for a quick reply.

So that means if my Visa Last Date is 05-Dec-19. I can still apply on the 2nd/3rd Last Date.

  8. Hi

My Visa Extension marriage  Non-O type is getting finished on 05-Dec-19. As per the requirement I am suppose to file application 01 month prior.

As per the rule, I am also suppose to show 400K Baht in the Thai Bank Account for at least 02 Months.

Question is what date the 02 Months funding period should start from a. Date of Filing of Application (i.e., 01 month prior to Visa date end, 0r b.  Last Date of Visa Extension i.e., 05-Dec-19.

    Reply(Advice) awaited based on facts

    Regards
