Why Oh Why do the so called ministers and TAT management want to make Thailand the laughing stock of the World on Covid??
I love this country but the ideas these people put forward are beyong belief all to often. They must all be Part Time Comedians!!

.There still are a large amount of clients for the sex workers. What many of these sex workers have done is change the style in which they operare. Instead of using the past norm they have become more refined and are advertising themselves on free outlets like Locanto where is the personals section you will see dozens of adverts daily that will satisfy the sexual taste of anyone. Plus the use of Tinder and Thai Friendly has increased significantly. They are predominantly sexual sale sites these days.
So for those people in need there are still plenty of sites you can go to find your particular need or desire.

We have just returned this afternoon to our home near Lopburi after 1 week in Pattaya. We were amazed at the lack of any positive activity or anything being open for business until Friday evening when suddenly the roads, pavements and beach went back to the Pattaya of a year ago. So the long weekenders had come to enjoy time away. This busy frantic activity continued until Monday lunchtime. By this morning (Tuesday) the city was back to being a ghost town. There were no traffic jams or delays. Virtually all the places that had opened for the holiday weekend were closed again. Our beach front hotel which was fully booked on Friday and Saturday and almost full on Sunday had 4 guests left apart from us this morning. So 5 rooms out of 92. Our main memory was the thousands and thousands of 'For Sale' signs we saw around the city. Very sad and probably even worse to come?

KFC Traditional Recipe. I can confirm what Fondue Zoo states about the unavailability of original. We drove to 3 outlets yesterday afternoon, 1 in Ang Thong and 2 in Singburi. The manageress at the last outlet informed us that KFC had run out of the original at all outlets within this district. So this is probably the case elsewhere.

Personally I avoid other Farangs like I would the plaque!! Judging by the daily sarcastic, negative comments I read on here to topics from fellow farangs I made the right choice over the last 20 years!!

I think the lock down must have also affected some peoples brain functions. Not being able to understand these few facts and the reasoning behind it defies logic.

These are sad, bored and sarcastic people who get through the day by criticising whatever comes along. This is there way of getting through their miserable life!!

I find this very good news to read. Whatever the monetary sums end up being you can believe that at least some will get to the people who need it most. So we have to acknowledge and appreciate, thank and give credit to the donors for providing such funds. Long may this generosity continue!!
To the people on here who already are sarcastically criticising, making derogatory remarks, scoffing at the hand outs and generally showing disrespect to the donors. My message to you is that fortunately for the needy Thai population your mean mouthed words mean absolutely nothing to the donors and thankfully will not change one action of what is going to happen in the coming weeks. Quite frankly why be mean mouthed on this site and show your true character. If you do not like what is happening here in LOS then move to another country!!

Drugs and alcohol which obviously is partly to blame. But for the most part this man is a danger to others and needs to be incarcerated for the rest of his life!!
No matter which country he is from he is a threat to people. Lock him up!!
My thoughts go to the woman who has paid the highest price for meeting this sadistic nutcase. RIP

Having watched the video a number of times I hope that this disgracefully behaved and angry woman is arrested and charged with assault, interfearing with a police investigation and whatever else they can think of to slap on her. As for 'the professor' he should be charged, spend time in the cells and publicly named and shown so that his students know the disgraceful calibre of the person teaching them!!
This video should be shown in Worldwide media as it demonstates the selfish disgraceful behaviour of a number of so called Thai professional people!!

This couple do not deserve the free publicity they are receiving. A supposed professional business couple keeping large amounts of cash in the house 'under the bed'!!!! Astoundingly irresponsible and a sheer act of stupidy on there part. I have no doubt they mentioned to family and friends and associates that they were 'waiting for a better exchange rate' hence inviting curiosity from people looking to maybe make an easy buck!!
I have not an ounce of sympathy for this couple who obviously left whatever common sense they had behind in Canada when they entered this country!!

I read your downhearted comments but completely disagree with you. I may not live in Pattaya or Bangkok but live between Ang Thong and Singburi. Honestly wherever we go (I have a Thai wife of over 20 years) we are greeted, with smiles, courtesy, friendly looks and never have a problem anywhere over the years. Much is about personal attitude and if you smile and are pleasant and interested in the people who serve you or do a task for you then you will get a good response.
Sounds like to outlook and attitude has changed. If you go out with a look on your face like many of the foreigners I see here then you will not get a good response. Often I am dismayed by the attitude shown to others by people from Farangs!!
Why don't you cheer up and in turn cheer up those around you instead of waiting for them to cheer you up!!

Mind you if any undercover police go to Sukhumvit between Soi 11 and Soi 5 and just walk around after 6pm at night then you will get many approaches from people selling them. I was in Sukhumvit Sunday evening and 1 offered me watches outside the German Beer House in Soi 11 then I had another by Soi 7 and a last in Soi 5. All this within 45 minutes!!! So that is where to go to find more people like this!!!

I hope that any part of the Thai police can identify and find this man. If they catch him I hope he is prosecuted and dealt with severely.

What is sad is not this made up story but the fact that so called Netizens or Thai people do not realise how good a life Thai people lead in countries like the UK and Germany and most of Europe. I can speak for the UK, Germany and Austria from many years living in these countries. The Thai people who always appear to slur our names here in Thailand enjoy the following in the 3 countries mentioned. Just some of the benefits are listed here:
You are treated with respect as equals and pay the same price for everything that local citizen pay. No mark ups because you are a Thai or foreigner
You can buy property (if you have money) in your own name
You can open your own business legally, easily and without fuss.
You do not have to report to immigration in any way until your visa ends
You are allowed to buy cars, motorcycles etc in your own name
You never read a story in a UK or other country newspaper about 'Thai People being harrassed etc"
You are treated as equals by local and can apply for citizenship after a number of years
I could go on and on about schooling, Universities, medical treatment etc etc. This is why so many tens of thousands of Thai's visit Europe and never come back (my own ex Thai wife is included)
All I can say to the Thai people who are so critical of farangs is go get an interesting life of your own and make the best of your life and leave other non Thai people alone!!

We cook chicken a few times a week in different dishes and have never had any problem with the chicken. So I think it is the way you cook probably. Cook chocken slow on low heat. We have never had any poor chicken meat in the last 10 years and we buy from Makro, Tesco, Tops etc. Ours is always delicious so I suggest you look at your cooking method.

I really could not care less what Nationality the driver is but he really needs to be taught a lesson for what I can only call a really disturbing and disgusting piece of behaviour. As the Lawyer writes throw him in jail for a month. I am absolutely appalled by his behaviour but it does seem almost common here.

This lady does not appear to be a role model for employing Expat ladies. She certainly does not have your companies interested in her system. being a long time former employer here I would send her a letter expalining that her extra 3 months leave were not authorised but taken anyway. I would then inform her that you are prepared to hold her job position open until (say) 4th October. Tell her that if she does not give you written notice that she will restart her work on 7th October that her position is terminated. Maybe you should make sure that you get a signature from here that she has received your letter. Send by Courier!!
Her type of behaviour is a stain on all genuine respectful Expats.

I have lived here for over 10 years and I have never experienced the problems I read about here on a regular basis. When my retirement visa comes up for it's yearly renewal I go to my Immigration office at Singburi and ask them all the right questions such as any changes, any new forms, any new information required since last year etc. Immigration then give me the correct forms to complete and give me the list of documents that I also need to supply. I go away and do what is required and return when the date comes. I have never had a problem in the last 10 years.
Also I have asked them previously to advise me on what are the best options for me and they have always supplied the correct information. So the message from me in 'Communicate, ask in a friendly manner and let them advise you' My motto is life has been 'Information is Strength' so instead of chastising them as I read here all too often let them advise you!!!

This is just the type of person who gives all good law abiding foreigners such a bad name and enrages the Thai people emotions.
This walking piece of stinking excrement must be found, heavily fined 10,000 plus baht and if he is caught again he should be removed from Thailand with a long 5 or 10 year ban.
If I knew where this piece of garbage lived I would personally take the police to get him.
