  1. And i wonder how many innocent people did or are still doing time thanks to him and his crooked pals. There are probably some who have disappeared/lost their lives because they got in his way
  2. Try and sort it through an agent beforehand would be my advice
  3. Well assuming his car is not a total wreck and he has the blue book in his name then it will be worth something to sell. I can't recall ever seeing a car in Thailand for sale for less than about 30k so even that small amount should last him at least a month.
  4. I absolutely would not go back and live in the UK and sometimes wonder what kind of boring life i would have if i hadn't found Thailand 30 odd years ago. A recent trip back home confirmed to me that i am in the right place here. For all it's faults, Thailand is still a great place to live compared to a western country. You do need to incorporate some routine into your life here which must include exercise. Drinking must also be limited, in fact staying out of bars altogether is probably the way to go. As for the ladies, i suppose it depends on if you like old and plump with attitude or younger and slim. I know which i prefer.
  5. Absolute tosh. Somebody with connections didn't want any prosecutions here and so there wern't any
  6. Cash in hand work...masssage, hairdressing, probably claiming benefits there too.
  7. I don't doubt for one second that the Burmese men are telling the truth.
  8. Agents are not keen to deal with marriage extensions and if age permits will suggest the retirement extension instead. Those that are under 50 without the required bank balance are the ones with a problem.
  9. Yes because in most cases that is wanted. Most guys however don't like being grabbed by other guys even if they are wearing a wig and a dress
  10. That filth should be confined to a designated area and arrested if seen outside it. Those who wish to indulge in activities with them can then go there and leave the rest of us to carry on with our lives without having to avoid even walking by them.
  11. If you're leaving for good at the end of this year then why do you want to extend your already valid license?
  12. Had he been a real Police Lieutenant Colonel then the drunk driver would have been released
  13. And you came on here to say that? Well done. Last time i looked Pattaya was in the world. Not on another planet.
  14. This kind of behaviour happens all over the world as does the behaviour of the police who seem to concerntrate their efforts into catching drivers.
  15. A few plastic bags over his head should get him admitting to it
  16. They should just clear the pimps and ladyboys. Leave the girls alone. They are part of the Pattaya experience
  17. Just watched the clip again a few times and from what i can see and hear it's a real shame that tuk tuk driver didn't get more of a hiding or the farangs didn't get away with it. Not condoning using violence to settle disputes but when dealing with that trash who like to dish it out then.......
  18. Call it circumstantial evidence if you like, a bit like you are using in assuming the farang did in fact even hit his tuk tuk or cause it any damage at all. Or did you see the alleged collision?
  19. You have been here long enough to know or you should know that there is a strong likelihood that that''s what happened and that is why things got heated between them. I will concede that nobody knows for sure that extortion was on the tuk tuk drivers mind but that is in my opinion is what most of those guys are about. Dishing out beatings is another. Yes he was entitled to fair compensation for any damage that was caused but again i doubt that fair was or would ever be on that tuk tuk drivers mind. Opportunity to make money was.
  20. Agree. The Brit needed to think where he was before he started hitting the extorter but make no mistake about it, the tuk tuk driver thought it was his birthday when the farang hit his tuk tuk. Now his prize will be even bigger. I have no sympathy for the tuk tuk driver or his cronies who instantly appeared on the scene for the chance to beatdown some farangs. Shame the Brits didn't get away with it, then it would have been a case of som nam na for all the others you have ripped off.
