  1. I am looking for a place to do Obstetric ultrasonography (as I understand in Thailand it is called 4D ultrasound) for the period of about 15 weeks pregnancy. In my home country women in their 15-16 week undergo a thorough ultrasound checkup of the unborn baby that includes stuff like Upper and lower limbs, spine, abdominal cavity (kidneys, stomach, liver, spleen, bladder, umbilical cord), chest (heart and lungs), neck, facial structure, skull and brain. Every place I talk with in Thailand say they do it only in the 18-22 weeks or more. For 15 weeks they only suggest doing a normal quick ultrasound that checks checks stuff like legs, hands and heartbeat. Some places say they can perform the thorough checkup earlier but never do. My issue with it is that I think that if a place is not doing it regularly they wont be able to fully understand if everything is ok because it is not their expertise. Did anyone ever do this checkup in Thailand in 15-16 weeks preferably in Bangkok area? Can you recommend a place? Also, any other information about this subject in Thailand will be appreciated. Thanks
  2. Thanks everyone. After your input and some more investigation we made with other dealerships we decided to not go with the loan. I guess it is not as good as we initially thought Thanks!
  3. I didnt understand what do you mean If you mean that when I loan money for a second hand car from a finance company I dont have to pay VAT 7% on the loaned amount please elaborate if you can. As far as I understand now from dealerships / talking to people / other people's comments here it is the law Thanks
  4. Me and my wide (Thai) would like to buy a second hand car We thought we would loan about 50% out of the price (roughly 400k baht) Talking with dealerships they all say that the interest for car financing is about 3% per year but all also mention (when we ask) that the amount will be also subject to VAT of 7% (for the loaned money only) In total it makes the loan interest 10% which is obviously much more expensive than paying all in cash Is there a way to loan partial part of a car's price without paying such a high rate? Maybe directly via bank or something else? Thanks
  5. Thanks for the help I was actually hoping that there's an app or website with reviews and recommended skilled workers based on location. People mentioned Home Pro take projects also so I might check it out soon. I used them many times to install things that were bought from their stores and had good experience with them. I didnt know they do projects as well.
  6. Hi all First off sorry if not the right forum or has been asked before (I really looked for it before posting this) I was wondering how can I find a recommended professional in my area when I need some house work ie plumbing work or fixing the electricity In my home country we have websites and apps where people write reviews and you can contact if you find someone suitable Is there anything like this in Thailand? Cheers
