I say to you because, for a person to not go to a dentist for years at a time, have "black" rotting' teeth clearly indicated a distorted view of self care. For healthy teeth; A person needs at lest 1 clean and fluoride a year, and at lest 1 to 2 checkups of all your teeth each year ... this whether you floss clean (and leave the residue of toothpaste in the mouth afterwards) and rinse a few times a day.

I always suffer for that when swimming in colder European waters on holidays.

My question to those seeking lab grown here is why would you risk the small amount it coasts for a lab stone to a system that has not proven itself as of the highest manufacturing quality when it comes to the pinnacle of scientific lab processes ... and Thailand has definitely not!

Everything imported from Europe, US, Oz, etc is about triple the price (import tariffs). Last Benz was about 70% more here than Oz e.g. 160K Oz ... 270K here. The bl@@dy price of Vegemite is about 4 times that of Oz ... OMG 🤣 a universal catastrophe !!!!! Imported beer, wine, spirits same. Good quality bed linen is astronomically expensive! I saw a German chefs knife at K Village Soi 24 Sukhumvit not long ago going for $500 and it wasn't a top brand either!!!! As a not too long ago emigre I'd suggest you stock up on all sorts of stuff and take advantage of the one of free personal goods import for retirees and ship a half or whole container of your stuff.

If you can afford it Bumungrad Hospital its tops. If the richest oil sheiks, westerners, and uber rich Thais go there be assured its top notch. Having said that there are many excellent private hospitals in Bangkok that can service your needs e.g Bangkok Nursing Hospital, BKK Hospital to name a few. LIKE OTHERS HAVE SAID DON'T GO TO AN ISLAND PACKAGE THING! DON'T USE SOME MEDICAL-TOURISM AGENCY CAUSE YOU'LL PAY MORE TO PUT UNNECESSARY BUCKS INTO THEIR POCKETS. Its not hard to set up your procedure from here. In my opinion there is no comparison between the skills of Aussie to Thai plastic surgeons, the Thais have it sewn up (pun intended). As one example of the excellent skills; Thais arguably do the best breast work I have ever had the privilege of test riding. Last time I had to pay it cost me about 900 AUD - BNH hospital. First time was back in 2009 and it cost about 750 AUD. Kind and efficient service. Easy and legal way: Apply for a 60 day tourist visa in Oz twice a year and have your visa approved and initially stamped at the Sydney Thai Consulate BEFORE you fly (final entry approval is on the I.O. at Swampy airport (but no worries there otherwise the checks in Oz would deny you at that application point). You get 60 easy days and back you come to Oz. Future 60 day periodic tourist visas also no probs (I used to do this many times before emigrating here so I speak from experience). The Thai consulate staff Sydney told me its a good way to visit and continue to do so as its very well managed and super-checked, as opposed to a 'visa on arrival'. It takes about 6 weeks max. If you can hand deliver your passport and docs to the consulate in Macquarie Street Sydney, it can be done even faster - sometimes. You do, have checked, your paperwork at the Consulate and they will check it for you then and there so you can't really make mistakes.
