Had the same issue. Used asq.in.th Zero connection to them. I posted a similar thread and someone recommended. Not cheap, but gives peace of mind in case they can not approve applications quickly enough. Our Thailand Pass states May 1st, as well.

Where are you seeing this? May 1st does not appear to be an option at all, which was the concern of this thread.

Where did you read this? The official website says there will be changes on April 29th at 00.01

No TP currently. That's why I'm reading here to see what others are saying or if there are any other options, like agents, etc.

I have the exact same dilemma. Flights already booked for a May 1st arrival.

Did you book your test & go already? As at the moment, you can't select that date as your arrival date.

Looking for help. I have family arriving on May 1st, but now since this update, they can't select that as an arrival date under the Test & Go scheme. (I'm guessing from April 29th, they can). However, the rules state you must set-up Test & Go at least 7 days in advance, which they now can not do. Is anyone else concerned about this?

Hi, I am changing the license plate of my car to one of the colourfully designed ones. Just a personal decision -- I've always preferred them. I'm just trying to figure out what documents I need to register the change. I know if I do it in a different province to where the car is registered, it needs to be inspected again. My main question is whether I need a certificate of residence if I'm changing the license plate in the same province the car is registered? These have been difficult for me to get if you see my past threads.

Excuse me in advance if this is not the right place to post. I saw similar - but not exact topics - in this same form. I have friends arriving in Thailand this month and they are booking their SHA+ approved hotel, which I believe must include your airport transfer. My concern is one or two of the stories I read where you test negative for Covid, but if you transfer to the hotel with someone who tests positive, then you also have to quarantine. Does anyone know if transfers still group you together with other people, or whether you have to ask the hotel separately for a private transfer (if that is even possible)? Thank you in advance.

Interesting. The only told me about the required paperwork six months after I got the car (guessing Covid put delays on everything?) and I still have the red number plates so I assume that is what they are worried about.

Just to confirm, I didn't mention this at all. Just told them I didn't have the documents they asked for. Here's a print out... 2 and 3 are what I did not have. I can get #2 easily, but it will not match #3.

Hi all, I'm currently having issues trying to get a certificate of residency (in Bangkok) so I can register the car I recently purchased. I went to Muang Thong Thani last week without the home owners ID (explained in a second), hoping the completed TM30 form and my 90 day reporting slip and / or work permit might help. Unfortunately they asked for proof of home ownership and the owners ID and wouldn't let me proceed further. The reason I do not have these documents is because the home owner passed away, and it is in the process of being transferred to a family member. So the 'tabien baan' does not have the current owners name on it. Apparently I have a very tight deadline for getting this document (according to the car dealer) or I'm going to have to register the car in another name. Does anyone know if there's some kind of exception I can get, such as a document which states the home ownership is currently being transferred, or similar? Or any kind of agent who can help me with this. Thank you in advance!

Sorry for bumping an older topic but I did not want to create even more threads (I have searched first). Can someone confirm then that I do not require any kind of lease agreements or copies of house book from the house owner? I've seen lots of guides online saying you do, but that does not appear to be the case based on the image posted above (Thank you for that, Neps).

I bought a new car around six months ago, and now the car company are saying that I (pretty urgently) need to get some kind of proof of address certificate. The problem is they only speak Thai so this has been written to me as หนังสือรับรองถิ่นที่อยู่ (Residence certificate). The thing I'm confused about is where I have to go to do this, and what documents are required. I have read other threads on the topic, such as this one, but they don't actually have a definitive answer (instead, people are mostly arguing about what you do and don't need). I have been told I need to go to immigration with my passport and work permit to get this, but I was also told It's up to immigration whether they will give me this paper or not which seems very strange to me. This is a brand new car, which I have already purchased. It is now being registered (I presume to get white license plates). The dealer said they can handle everything for me but I need that address certificate first. Any advice GREATLY appreciated.

Currently I have the 30 days 'under consideration' stamp. The company still want to keep me as an employee, but this year appears more difficult than others for that to happen, so I'm trying to plan ahead in the event they can not continue to employ me.

Apologies in advance if I use the incorrect terminology. I currently have a work permit which allows me to work for another 12 months, but it doesn't look like I'm going to get the visa extension to go with it for various reasons. I am just trying to be smart and planning ahead if something less than ideal were to happen. The current visa from last years work permit ends this month. If my normal 12 month extension is not given, I believe the normal requirement is to leave Thailand within 7 days (you apply for an extension and get rejected). Would it be possible to somehow "convert" this into a covid extension, so I can stay for an additional few months, or will I definitely have to leave within the 7 days? Thanks a lot!
