    I had surgery on my leg recently still bandaged on crutches. While at a fruit stand the older Thai lady seller 55ish, noticed my bandage coming loose. After purchase she walked around stand and try to press my bandage back on leg. Never see or been to the fruit stand ever before.

     

    This is above and beyond kindness. Never ever would a stranger in my home country take the effort and have the kindness to do such a thing.

     

    Don't forget this type of category of Thai people.

    Are hospitals required by law to provide cost estimate to patients before surgery ?

    The greed claws came out at bbk hospital Khon kaen early this year. Pre op procedure and estimate from doctor all changed once the limits of my insurance were noted. Broken leg tibia, 2 procedures first reset bone then go home come back 2 weeks to install a metal plate. Next day that changed, you must stay here for the 2 weeks cannot go home. Oh so what has changed? Nothing but $$ 

    About 1 million total.

    See my other post above. It's regarding the redux of prior fix on broken leg. Now 3 surgeries broken tibia 1.1+

    Just had a procedure done at ratchaprueck in khon kaen. Given estimate 75000 after surgery final bill 120000. Of course I questioned the 60% increase even with my insurance covering it. Lots of mumbling this that with the only hard difference was during surgery, the local anesthesia was not strong enough I started the feel sharp pain so anesthesiologist put me to sleep under general. So they blame the 60% increase on me because "you are big strong man" had to change to general anesthesia and had to wait for general anesthesia to kick in. Surgery time went from 1 hour to 1.5 hours ...=60% increase. Because I whined the hospital ate my 10% copay. All free to me

    Austrian FPÖ Member of Parliament Michael Schnedlitz administered a COVID-19 PCR test to the beverage Coca Cola in the plenum before his colleagues. The popular drink tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.

    He said he was performing the test live before parliament: "so you can see how worthless and misguided these mass tests are."

    He continued: "The evidence is overwhelming, starting with the absolutely absurd mass tests that are currently being carried out, which are nothing more than a large-scale redistribution of tens of millions of euros in tax money from the population...it can't go on like this."

    650F is a great choice for an upgrade from the 500. The 650f has a more upright riding position as oppose to the 650 R where you are more in the tuck position. Upright much more comfortable for longer rides. 2018 last year for the F but many around. Still very desired bike.

    There is no official days allowed but an office might not fine you for a overstay if it was only a few days.

    Gulp, that's not great news been less than a week so...

    Funny one agent said I have peeeelenty of time another 3 months if I find another bride can just stay on marriage visa and another 7 days..

    Wife says not going to do...something not correct "gangstas".

    Wife spoke with a few friends, there are a couple cell towers relatively close both leased at $50k per year. Never the less wife doesn't trust them so it's over. Just as well... 

    Our property is for sale listed on Kaidee and believe that's how he found and contacted us. Wanted to get my wife to go with them alone without me to sign the deal fast "big money today!" Doesn't seem to be on the up and up. No telling what they were going to try and have her sign.

    Good point about the end of the lease who is responsible for tower. I'd imagine would have done scrap value but thanks for your input.

    My main concerns are perceived negative impact to value of overall property vs income from lease. We do have our home here so that does have some weight. Nothing like looking at a giant blinking cell tower out your window all night I imagine...

    If we don't do it then possibly a neighbor does and we still look at tower for our view but no income from it lose lose. Similar to the wind turbines back home, if you don't do it neighbors will.

    We were recently approached by a broker / middle man about locating a cell antenna on my wife's land. Second meeting representative of large Thailand internet/ TV / antenna / cell company came along. No business card or anything. I don't speak Thai so only know what my wife tells me about this. They have made an offer 3 years plus two additional 3 year options with increases total 9 years. The offer of 18000 /mo seems low to me. Anyone have experience or negotiated similar?
