  1. Interesting question.Covid is the disease you develop after being infected with the Sars Cov 2 virus and a disease is diagnosed based on symptoms, now we know many people can test positive for Sars Cov 2 and not have any symptoms so those people would technically not be diagnosed as having Covid. If you don't have a temperature but display other symptoms and test positive for Sars Cov 2 then you could be classed as having Covid, so it seems to be possible to have Covid without an above normal temperature.
  2. Below is a graph posted in an ABC article today showing excess deaths in Australia in recent years and shows 2017 had significantly more deaths that was attributed to the flu than the 22,000 covid deaths over the past 2 years.I must be missing something because I don't remember there being much of a hoo haa made about the deaths from the flu that year or any lockdowns or vaccine mandates.I wonder if Thailand might have a similar story? https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-03-08/australia-covid-19-deaths-and-mortality/100857462
  3. These guy's are expert financial jugglers, some of the best in the world at juggling the countries finances into their offshore accounts.
  4. Dunno. Why don't you ask the experts who put so much effort into finding the origin of not only this virus but all the others they put so much effort in finding the source of? "Although great progress has been made in understanding the epidemiology, virology, immune response, and clinical outcomes of this disease 1 year after the start of the pandemic, the origin of the virus remains unresolved." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8057312/
  5. So where did SARS CoV 2 come from?Where are the detailed investigations that show this? That's great that you mentioned some diseases that have known origins but can you do the same for the virus in this current pandemic?
  6. What makes you think I expect the Thai government to do anything about finding the origin of covid? If I did expect the Thai government to find the origin of covid it would be because the Thai government is the best in the world at everything, it would be a piece of cake for them but like the rest of the world they don't want to, like Jim Jordan says why is that?I'll tell you why they don't and that is they think it's not important. The governments in the world just don't think it's that important to find out why 6 million have died from covid so that they might stop it from happening again. Why don't the world's governments care about trying to stop something like this happening again? Why isn't the mainstream media asking these questions? Why aren't you asking these questions Danderman?Don't you care enough that 6 million people have died from covid to find where it originated so we can stop it happening again?Or would you rather blame the unvaxxed for the pandemic?
  7. Actually Thailand is ranked 110 out 180 for transparency and corruption, so their figures or anything else they say can't really be trusted. https://www.transparency.org/en/countries/thailand
  8. At least with A Nut In charge I might be able to punch a few cones!I'd vote for that kind of nut!
  9. One definition of "asylum" "an institution offering shelter and support to people who are mentally ill" https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=asylum+meaning&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
  10. Does the same logic work for pregnancy tests ?If you can't answer that then you might consider claiming a refund on your education expenses because they seemed to have had little to no promising results.
  11. People only get covid if they test.If you don't test you get a cold or flu.I never tested so I didn't get covid but I did get a cold or flu.If people want to stop the spread of covid then stop testing for it.
  12. Our local Doctor in Yasothon built a 50 million baht traditional Thai teak house that nobody lives in, it's just a show piece in the middle of nowhere surrounded by rice paddies and he is filthy rich so 72 million baht doesn't sound unrealistic.
  13. Cool I was a bit worried for a second. There's also a difference between unvaccinated with a prior infection and unvaccinated without a prior infection and I feel it would be nice if there was a better term or phrase that could be used that accommodated this difference. It will be interesting to see just how long a previous infection protects against serious illness and death when the dust finally settles.
  14. Are you hinting that people with less than 3 jabs, and the 3rd must be recent, should be seated in a seperate area of the plane?
  15. The link says they can determine where a mutation came from yet the best the can do is say where it was first detected and yet they don't state where any mutation actually came from. Why is that?If they say they can determine where the mutation came from why don't the say where they came from?Sounds to me they are not willing to say with any certainty where the mutations came from because the don't "know" for a fact where they came from and they can't scientifically prove where they came from. You talk about facts, maths and probability yet the best probability can do is say something maybe more likely to occur which still sounds like guessing to me.Knowing the probability of heads or tails doesn't mean the next toss can be predicted. Therefore I conclude that we will indeed have to live with unvaccinated people here in Thailand just as they have decided to do in Denmark and Sweden which, to me, is a sensible decision to make.
  16. If mutation predictions are based on the number of infections how does one predict the number of infections?I don't remember anyone predicting infections like the ones we are seeing from Omicron and I vaguely remember some saying corona viruses don't mutate often which was maybe because the didn't really understand what they were capable of. Sorry I just can't swallow your statement that mutations are predictable.I also don't believe scientist and medical experts actually know why this these viruses behave the way they do nor do I believe they know how they behave the way they do. You make statements like "In vaccinated people there is generally less replication of the virus and with it less of a chance of a mutation occurring."Yet it is the random nature of mutations that is the problem as they don't know where they occur or why they occur so I can't see how they are predictable as you claim they are.
  17. They both share deaths as a result and hunger causes more deaths than covid with is comparable as I have shown by comparing the numbers of death from both causes. You may say the are not comparable, you are free to do so as I'm free to disagree.I'm comparing the numbers of deaths by each cause I'm not comparing the causes of deaths as you seem to try and suggest I'm doing by saying what you said.I'm comparing the severity of the problems and the attention each are receiving from the media and saying it's not equatable based on the severity of each problem. I fail to see the reason you say hunger is not a disease and doesn't float in the air since I have said neither of these things and they seem to have no relevance to what I'm saying. Denmark and Sweden are returning to normal and have drop all restrictions apparently.
  18. Suggest away but you seem to have beaten me to it well done!So how does this prove that mutations don't occur in vaccinated people?By saying that mutations occur in unvaccinated people doesn't prove they don't also occur in vaccinated people does it?
  19. Yes I agree what you have stated is your opinion to which you are entitled. Yes maybe I should have based it on some made up number. No I don't take this into account I'll leave that one to you as you do a much better job of taking it into account than I do.
  20. Do you know if mutations occur in vaccinated people with breakthrough infections?Has it been proven where the mutations originate? So far it seems that the origin of mutations is still a bit of a mystery it's seems to more of a guessing game at the moment.I suspect it's quite possible that mutation have just as much chance of occurring in vaccinated people so using the mutation argument as reason for being vaccinated is just an opinion and not based in scientific proof.
  21. I say it's a comparison with a more severe cause of deaths with 3 times the number of covid deaths for some perspective and you say it's a failed distraction yet you fail to back up you claim without any form of argument so I'm inclined to dismiss your claim as a failed distraction on the grounds of lack of a coherent argument. When I compare 18 million deaths from hunger to 6 million deaths from covid I draw the conclusion that hunger is a bigger problem especially when 6 million of the deaths from hunger are children. Yes it's true I didn't bother with taking into consideration why Israel is having more deaths after it's vaccination effort because my point was that it is suffering more deaths after its vaccination effort.I'll leave the explaining why this is so to you because you may feel it's important to do so.
