EU tells Britain to make up its mind as Brexit deal 'within reach'
Just don´t care about them! They have already stated they do not want any deal, as well as they also already broken a row of pre-made deals.

You obviously have no idea about accommodation prices in UK..rent or buy, driven so high by mass immigration which has also effected working conditions and suppressed wages....zero hour contracts with no benefits...when rent takes 70% of your net pay it doesn't leave much for anything else.
That just proves that I know what I am talking about. In reality it will generally be about 50% of your net pay, due to that you just took a high negative number out of thin air.
Anyway, that is not the point. You have to have a place to stay, right? My point was that you should not take on more than you can pay. Needless to say, you will have to pay 50% of your net pay just for rent, which mean that you always should see to that your mortgage costs never exceeds that limit as well. Always get away with the smallest of the necessities. -

Sure, because no one in the 27 member states ever extends themselves, lives on credit and runs into financial issues when things like a totally unexpected pandemic hits out of the blue; or a financial meltdown.
No sir, all the EU member states are financially sound, prudent and have no debts. Just like Greece, Italy, Spain, Ireland, etc etc etc.
What are you babbling about? When did I mention that other countries does not have the same problem? Were you quoting me by mistake?

It´s really sad to read all these things. First we have the almost 100 year old guy that walked in money and got dubbed by the queen. After that an 83 year old pensioner that speaks up. Never hear anything from the young generation. Seems to me that the hope for UK is dying with the old generation.

I am sorry I asked now, as you really are in a hi-so world of your own with blinkers on..????
Are you saying your Sweden has no unemployed, no low paid jobs, no lost businesses etc, and that the whole of the Swedish populace are all as smart as you....?
According to that you are sorry you asked, must mean that you do not understand such elementary things such economic planning in life. Out of that reason you will also realize what group you fall in according to my opinion. ????
Regarding your stupid question, about things I´ve never mentioned. I kindly refer you to my earlier post that already given the answer.

Are there no folk in your country having financial problems because the virus....?
Yes, it is! Have no sympathy for them either.
How am I off topic? You do not decide which opinion people on this forum shall have about the news and threads in this forum.
I am posting my opinion about the 12 million in the news that are struggling. NOT off topic. Stop with your nonsense and hard tries to decide over other members. After that, all the things about being smart. Nothing to hide there, I already know that I am much smarter than the general population.

4 minutes ago, transam said:You are calling Brit folk "not smart" for having money troubles over C19 lockdowns etc.
The whole world is having money problems over C19, yet you call them not smart.
Explain....?
It´s easy to explain. It´s not smart to live on credits and loans. It´s smart to make money and buy for cash. Then nothing can go wrong.
Sure there is need to take loans for buy a house. However, never buy with the minimal cash deposit and always see to that you do not take on other things that might make it hard to pay.The best way to buy a house is to put in 30% in cash and see to that the mortgage not exceeds the cost of renting a place for living.
Most of the people sitting with problems and are struggling have lived on too much borrowed money and credits. In other words, over there means. That´s STUPID!There must also always exist a buffer of available cash, before you get into debt and credits.

So, 12 million not so smart people that put themselves in too deep in loans as well as too high bills. Let´s just hope that´s not the smartest part of the country´s population. If so, there is no possible way to save the sinking ship. At least could have stayed in EU and given their citizens the possibility of free movements and work in other member states.

Anti-British, go read your posts, but first, your steaks maybe burning.....????
You still don´t understand anything. Unbelievable!
In your post, you assumed that it "should not be of any concern to you" and that I was posting "from across the channel". That´s final, because that was the only thing that you could do due to lack of proof and facts for your assumption. If you now chose to deny that fact, or actually do not understand the meaning of your own posts, is not my problem. That´s something you have to deal with all alone. Don´t be scared now. I am sure you finally will figure it out.
By the way, my steak came out perfect. Some of us can do more than one thing at the time.
However, now it´s time to eat so please do not disturb. ???? (Sadly, I assume, that you will not understand that either, nor show any respect for that fact)
No more time to play with you today! You simply have to move your stuff and play in another sandbox.- 3

So I didn't "assume", don't twist my offerings and tell porkies in replies...........
Plus your post has shown 100% you are anti-British, thank you for that....????
Still have to help you understand. I am not twisting anything. You are in denial regarding the meaning of the word assume. Let´s Google it:Below, copies from Google:suppose to be the case, without proof."it is reasonable to assume that such changes have significant social effects"
So, now when that is cleared. The only thing you possibly could have done in you post where you wrote that it "should not be of any concern to you" as well as that I was doing something "from across the channel" without having any facts or proof regarding that whatsoever, was that it was supposed to be the case. In other words: You assumed!
Also my post does not show that I am anti-British at all. From a patriots side, I assume, it might be mistaken for that. However, the fact is: I can´t care less about the idiots and clowns that are running and devastating country after country and currency after currency around the whole globe. As long as I can see the right move before the house falls, I am happy! Makes my little world much less complicated and easier to live in. You should try it sometime. ????- 2

Hell yeah! That would have been perfect. Now I have to be happy over the bottled ones I can find in Macro. Although, better than nothing. ????
You would be very welcome, by the way.
As long as you bring some Erdinger with you. That one is also very nice. Living out in the sticks, though. Always have to settle for the bottles. Will go to both Bangkok and Pattaya soon, and there I can get the real good stuff.- 3

Where did I say I "assumed", talking to you, please remind me...?
I have no interest in your personal money/business stuff, it is not relevant.
You are concerned about the UK's side of the channel by posting here, so don't tell me what to do...Thank you...
First we take and explain the "assumed" thing that you also do not seem to understand. I never posted that you said or wrote the exact word. However, take a look below:
4 hours ago, transam said:????...................Whether the pound had lost value or not made NO difference to the cash sent to the EU, plus should not be of any concern to you, from across the channel.....????
Here you post that it "should not be of any concern to you, from across the channel". That means you are assuming that it´s no concern to me as well as you also assume that I am positioned across the channel. See how easy it can be if you just try to read and understand.Still, regarding the business and money stuff, like you wish to call it in your replies. That was included as an explanation why it was of concern to me. Also very easy to understand, and nothing to get upset about.
And no, I am not concerned at all how the economical and political dwarfs in the UK solve their problem or if they make the misery bigger. My only concern is that I will get as much as possible out of it before the house of cards finally falls. ????
Absolutely no need to thank me. I am happy to serve. ????
Have a good day! I am going to open up a Weihenstephaner and put some steaks on the grill.- 2

1. Already aware of that people have different possibilities. So, if everybody have different possibilities, and they can´t buy a house. No, okay! Then they will neither stand with loans and expenses on that, right? What you seem to not understand, is that I am simply stating that most people would be better of, buy not dragging themselves into more debts than they can handle. There must always be a margin and a buffer in a financial situation before any debts are taken. That means, like you post, hat everyone can be individually different with different possibilities, but must look at their economic situation in the same responsible way. Get it now? Never posted that everyone have same possibilities. Neither was I judging out of my situation. That´s your words.
2. That´s strange? I thought it was only mentally challenged people that had such very different pictures of reality. It looks like you proven me wrong, or not. Unfortunately I am not capable of taking a decision on that matter on distance. ????
3. Yes, I remember that. The fact is that I do not need to know any reasons for a person that is on 14 days overstay. It´s against the law and is breaking the immigration rules. No more is needed. Maybe you can give me 3 reasons you deem acceptable for being on a 14 day overstay....... However, I guess you were mentioning things about being off-topic yesterday. What does your last paragraph have to do with this thread?
