  1. While I don’t support his act particularly, this seems a gross overreaction, driven by social media and anti-foreign jingoism. Social pigpile soon to be forgotten.
  2. Ignore the signs at your peril. At any rate of water flow the mist feeds the rock algae bed and its slippery as hell. The signs are there for a reason. Thousands visit these sites/sights yearly without any problems. My mother in law in her 70’s had a lovely time. But she wouldn’t think of wandering off the marked paths. It’s not “a death trap” as one trip site commenter alleged. Just use proper caution and forethought. These deadly accidents are usually self-caused from foolish decisions.
  3. There is, but not not everywhere. And people ignore the safe areas to try for something more fun, a better selfie or the like. Human nature makes the young think they know all and they are strong and invincible. Slippery lichen doesn’t care what you believe about yourself, it just does what it does.
  4. I determined early that, if I could afford it, my child would never be subjected to the idiotically cruel corporal-punishments and rote-learning of Thailand Public Education. This is yet another example why that money for private school was well worth it. Not to mention, the ability to ‘think out of the box’, and not be locked into a kow-tow mentality. No regrets!
  5. Good news. It was a dodgy charge to begin with. It was not him as a person, it was him as ‘Juristic Person’ ‘his father’s executor’. But also, not a lick of ‘media business’ was done in 15 years by this dormant company, just waiting for a law suit to finish. Nothing to do with manipulating the electorate unfairly. So a good call by the CC.
  6. Doesn’t sound like any change at all from the last decade. Just a new announcement of same thing, but made to sound tougher. I guess must be a new Department Head trying to look tougher than the numptie before.
  7. It’s a joking Americanisim, for a stupid person saying think.
  8. I had Dengue. Which hit me while driving a bike. Next morning was bone break bad, went to hospital 2 days later, I did the correct diagnosis before the Doc. Hospital said drink as much water as you can, no aspirin or ibuprofen, only paracetamol. Go home $60. You don’t get bit in taxi on way to airport and get deathly ill before you arrive. It’s days before flashing eyes and then ‘Bone Break Day’. ICU is gouging. He could get fluid drip in any bed, not a problem and not $2,700 a day.
  9. Too much noise! Guess I’ll fire off my gun. Totally no logic there.
  10. I know this spot well. And with the current rain fall it means it is screaming down and spraying widely. Beautiful, but a large safety nuisance also. The spray feeds the moss and algae all about the rocks. It’s as slippery as anything, bare feet have no purchase, flip flops hardly more. One step and you slide off before you realise. And down to the next level of hellish rocks. Every year one two sad souls try selfies, or play explorer, or want to sit in a pool of wildly twisting water. Once in the pool you might stay ok for a spell. The problem is getting to the pool and from, is like walking on an 45° ice rink. In dry season you can manage this, the water is far less, but in monsoon season it’s insane. There are signs warning of the danger but they get ignored by a few Darwin Award Winners, who accidentally remove themselves from the gene pool for their own choices. RIP
  11. They were hardly scantily clad. I am far more concerned with the fact this dame who can’t even find the songs key is out there ruining the field of music, than the girl dancing in a skirt showing some tummy. 3rd rate show and half-competent dancers dressed like they’re going to the mall.
  12. Let's not ever forget that Military Blimp that was expected to secure the southern boarder. And those electronic wand probes to snofc out explosives and yaba!!’ Sink me! But what boondoggles
  13. More worried about face than function. if they are truly good Buddhists then they should not care, because they are free from these thoughts. It’s outside, it doesn’t matter
