  1. On Jomtien 2nd road right past the "Revenue Building" there are a few small View Talay buildings. They are only like 4 stories high. In the building closest to the revenue department there is a gym in the basement that is very inexpensive and has pretty good equipment. Before I quit and got fat there were only to 3 or 4 people there in the morning when I went there at 8 am. And, most of the people are not weight lifters but people just trying to stay in shape.
  2. What countries are restricted by Swissquote? Where Swissquote is not authorized by the supervisory authority of a certain country, Swissquote can as a general rule not promote financial and banking services in that country. In particular, Swissquote is not authorized by the supervisory authorities of the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and France.
  3. I have tried to research all of them that I could find and none of them allow you to buy US stocks. Does anybody know if one of them does allow the purchasing US stocks? Thanks in advance.
  4. Every branch is different. Some cooperate and some make your life miserable. If one of them gives you a problem, just find another one. It is all up to the manager as too how that branch operates.
  5. I am really tired of not making any money on the funds I have in my Thai Banks. I tried to check online and the best I could come up with a savings account at SCB called "EZ Savings" which pays 1.5%. WOW, really, I guess it better than the almost nothing I have been getting. OH please, if anybody can beat that please let me and I am sure quite a few others know what it is and what bank offers it. Not only savings but safe money market too. Thanks in advance.
  6. There is in the US. They pay or move because they won't own their property if they don't pay.
  7. 500 Baht a day to get the crap beat out of you, and this dude wants to know if that's enough. No it is not enough! The going rate for sparing partners is 10,000 a day and you better pay up.
  8. In the US we use a great deal of slang that could actually mean the exact opposite of the word you heard. An example is "somebody saying that is bad". Of course you would think that what they were talking about was no good. When the exact opposite is what they were saying and "bad means really good." It is easy for us to know when bad means bad, and not good. But, I imagine it would be a nightmare for a person who English was not their first language.
  9. View Talay 5 condo fees are 7,200 per year for a 48 SM condo.
  10. Very good advice moogradod, and I was thinking about it.
  11. Well, he broke out my back window in my car! What's next? The building manager would not call the police since she said they did not have a video. I went to the police and filed a report. I don't know what to do, the man is insane and the guards and many people in the building know it.
  12. Thanks for everybody's help. After reading all of the above suggestions, I really don't know what to do. The guy I am having trouble with creates huge problems in our building. I had no idea how many until I started talking to various people in our building and each person I talked has a new troublesome story about him. The former building manager told me she warned him about his behavior so may times she forgot how many. What to do, how to stop this type of behavior once and for all is the question, and I don't know the answer, which is too bad for every normal person that lives in our building, especially the children.
  13. That does not sound good.
