Don't they already charge tourist tax? What happened to the cash money I had to pay to leave in the 90s, what happened to the tourist tax supposed to come in on 2022?

You don't mention where he came from, where he lives normally. This might help.

Well you have the 150 baht withdrawal fee plus the low currency exchange if you withdraw from a ATM
It's been 220 Baht for a withdrawal for some time now

Make it an offence for parents, who are already brainwashed to believe the religious nonsense, to brainwash their kids. This would break the cycle of belief in these ancient stories.
The Soviet Union tried that. Religion is the opium of the people. Remember that?

Why didn't they publish the details of this secret deal before Thaksin returned?
It wouldn't be much of a secret deal then, would it? It's all speculation anyway.

Correct - he left the flight deck and successfully dealt with a medical emergency.
Your criticism may be valid if there were only one pilot on the flight, but in this example, your criticism is moronic.
I'm grateful for your comment. I refer you to EASA recommendation dated 27 Mar 2015, I also refer you to FAR 91.105,

Ever heard of autopilot? The captain would have plenty of time to return to his flying duties 🙂
Not if the pilot flying decided not to let him back in. There need be no pilot at all with autopilot engaged, but flight crew monitor and answer radios, monitor the condition of the aircraft. Carry out emergency actions when required. Flight crew are flight crew for a reason. The best paid crew person, with the ultimate responsibility for the lives and welfare of all on board, and he left the secured flight deck.

The captain, not just 'the pilot'. Left the cockpit. 1 pilot flying, good greif, they're not double crewed for nothing. Germanwings ring any any bells?

Has he been convicted of any crime yet?

I still give the Foodpanda guy or gal a tip. They work hard, out in the hot sun, and do not get paid as much as they deserve. The 20 baht means nothing to most of us. It means alot to them. I can see that by their reaction. Same applies in a restaurant. Anywhere.
From my point of view, a lack of tipping emanates from a very cold heart, that shuts itself off from people. Giving and charity are very healthy for the heart and soul.
they work hard...they don't get paid as much as they desrve.... In your view....
did you get tipped when you were working? I certainly didn't. It was considered inappropriate for the service industry in which I worked.
The punter pays, however you look at it, whether by tip or whether the service provider's salary 'is as much as they deserve ' I'm sure they would love you to pay them the difference between what they get and what you consider they deserve.which
do you actually know how.much they make? What do you consider to be a deserving salary for the job they do?

Evidence of adequate finance:
- Single-Entry Tourist Visa: Bank Statement showing at least THB 20,000 per person or THB 40,000 per family or equivalent in other currencies.
- Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa: Bank Statement showing at least IDR 80,000,000 (USD 7,000) for the past 6 months, and Letter of Employment
Where's the cash requirement?

As I pointed out, that website is unnavigable.... Most tourists are not as worldly wise as you and I and may not cast their search for information as widely.
I found the information in seconds...http://www.thaiembassyjakarta.com/en/consular-services/tourist-visa/

We also experienced an unexpectedly high bill this month. We left Thailand 15th Jan and on 20th this month the bill was 1700 plus Baht. Only the fridge and freezer running, neighbours watering the garden every 2 or 3 days...
Previously when away from the house, the bill has been 1/10 of this, hovering around 170 - 200 Baht.

I think you'll find John Campbell can't edit "his" own Wikipedia page !

In October 2023, the BBC Radio 4 programme More or Less debunked a video that Campbell had made in September 2023 in which he wrongly claimed that excess deaths were higher among those who had had a COVID-19 vaccine than those who had not; the figures he used in fact showed the opposite.[32] Campbell took down his video after being contacted by the programme, telling them that he was not a statistician.[32]
do your own research.... This from Wikipedia, look it up. This guy's credibility is suspect at best.

indeed it is, the original narrative was that the earth was flat, those who disagreed were indeed treated as conspiracy theorists by authoritarian organisations such as the church for example . However as is usual due to research and the application of science, by those who refused to accept what they were being told , the truth eventually emerged.. A small minority still believe the original narrative.the rest have woken up
It was known that the world was not flat at the time of the Roman Empire, the ancient Greeks knew it wasn't flat too. What's the 'original' narrative and where did that come from?

Of course much of the reason that they are 'used to that type of thing' back home is that the west, the Netherlands included, played a significant role in turning their countries into basket cases many years ago, and has done little to improve things since.
We are reaping the fruits of our forefathers' actions.
How long ago? How old is Eritrea? Do you continue to point fingers at colonialism? When does that start...? Ottoman, Italian...British, Ethiopian...?

Do you wonder, as I do, who invented the definition of recession and why so much significance is attached to the word?
What's the word defining 2 consecutive quarters of positive growth?
