  1. Hi, Planning to visit my mum for 3 weeks who is 85 in UK next year. She wants to see her grand daughter before kicking the proverbial bucket. I wish to take my daughter (3 years old) with my Thai Gf. Obviously we're Not married. Daughter has my surname though. GF has good job with oil company so possible to get 6 month tourist visa ? I'm thinking 6 month tourist visa because I'm actually still married /separated and will be taking my adult daughter with us to the UK from that marriage (she has dual passports/nationality). Fiance visa I would think is kind of a no no being still legally married. A touch Complicated, but those with abilities of shedding light would be much appreciated. Cheers
  2. A UK financial adviser told me that because of my non UK resident status he won't be able to help me with investing etc. He's put me in touch with an English run firm here in Bangkok that operate under the UK pricing rules and regs. etc. I'll want to investigate a few more possibilities both here and the UK, so Can anyone recommend or give suggestions of any other trustworthy firms/individuals that deal with expats? cheers.
  3. Hello, I wish to retire to Thailand after this covid mess dies down. Can anyone tell me the difference between the O and OA long stay/retirement visa. From what I've heard The O visa is obtained in Thailand and doesn't require health insurance. The OA visa is obtained in one's home country and the 400k THB IP 40k OP health cover is required. What would be the best option and can anyone shed light on this confusing issue. Thank you.
  4. Okay cheers. I'll leave it in. Maybe the under consideration period has been extended to 2 months because of covid. Usually 1 month
  5. Hi guys. Done all the paper work and had the house visit just a few days later for 1 year marriage extension. Need to go to immigration in a couple of months (it was only one month last year). Is this still a probation period while they do more checks and need to leave the 400k or can I start moving the 400k bht elsewhere. Cheers.
