  1. If someone has a side job (I know many do when they shouldn't) and they are considered a digital normad but don't make enough money to apply for the Digital normal visa type. How will they go about paying Tax on the earnings ? Also and this in my case, I receive my money to live here as a gift from my Family in the UK. This has been on going for the last 6 years and every month my family put cash In to my UK bank for me and i send it accross with Wise to my Thai account, do I need declare that and will I be taxed on it ?
  2. Hi, I'm flying to Cyrpus to join on my family on holiday and I want to Exchange some Baht for Euros at the Airport. I fly at 02:30 AM so I want to know if there is money exchange booths pre departure ? and will they be open around midnight ? I don't really have the time to do it in Bangkok as I won't really be spending any time in Bangkok I'm just passing through. Thank You.
  3. Any chance of a DM with the details this ? I've not had Lemon Haze for years so I would like to give this ago.
  4. Hi, Sorry if this has been asked before I have looked through the archives and I don't see an answer to my question. My Marriage extension is coming to an end in June, during the extension I have left the country once and i obtained a re-entry permit to succesfully leave and re-enter. I would now like to leave the country again in May for 2 weeks prior to my extension finishing and I want to know if it Is possible to get another single re-entry permit ? I know many people will ask why I didn't just get a multiple entry to start with and for future extensions I certainly will. I didn't forsee leaving thailand but now I have learnt its better to just get the multiple re-entry permit regardless.
  5. Great attendance, Plymouth allowed 6x Tickets per season ticket holder a shame Bolton didn't do the same. Very tough game but I think the big Wembley pitch will be a positive to our style. Looking forward to it COYWM !!
  6. No she has a Thai passport we live in Thailand together. She has been to the UK years ago but all her stamps are in her old Thai passport. We will take that to the interview
  7. I'm a British Passport holder. Every February My British family takes a holiday/Vacation to the USA and I join them. Next year they plan to go to LA for 2 weeks and I would like to take my Thai Wife on the trip, It seems a long shot but what are the chances she will be accepted for a tourist Visa ? For more information Me and my wife have lived inside Thailand together for 4 years, she owns a small house and the land it's built on, she has 2 kids both young teenagers. She works but not for a company she just sells flowers at different markets. Do you think she would pass for a tourist visa ? Would me being a Brit and her having no direct links to the USA help her application ?
  8. Question, when you leave the airport do you just collect your luggage and go? or do you face an extra bag security check when leaving? I'm on a very tight schedule and need to get Don Mueang as quickly as possible for another flight. I've paid for the fast track service when i get off the plane for the passport inspection but I just want to check if I could possibly face a delay with a long queue for a extra bag/security check ?
  9. Hello. I've browsed the archives and google and i have found different posts/websites about this but they didn't all have the info I was looking for. Christmas i would like to take my Thai Wife on a 2 week Holiday to the UK to meet my family. We have been staying together in Thailand for 4 years now and we have been married for 2 yeats my wife has kids and we own a property but she doesn't work. My questions is when should I look to start this process? I know it isn't advisable to book flights prior to receiving a visa but are flight details required to get the visa ? Are the the Visa agent sites correct when they say its very difficult to obtain a visitor visa alone ? (I understand that they want my business so of course they're gonna say that but maybe there is some truth to it ? ) And for anybody who has done this before how difficult and stressful is it ? We have no plans to live in the UK we are just visiting family for 2 weeks and then returning to Thailand.
  10. Hello. I recently left Thailand for a 2 week holiday/vacation to see my family. I don't want to bore people with all the details, but basically whilst I was seeing my family I made a decision that I want to stay in my home country and not return to Thaland. I have about 600,000 Baht in my Krungsri Bank account and i want to know what is the best way for me to transfer this to my UK Bank account without needing to physically go back to Thailand and do it in person. Thank you in advance.
  11. That's good to know. I thought I would have to leave the country and start all over again because when I got my marriage visa from the agent they told me that I would always have use them ?
  12. I have always used a agent to obtain my Marriage Visa. Next year I have decided I'm going to leave the country (for Laos) and get the Non O visa from there and do it the right way. I have over 400K in a Thai bank in my name but it has come to my attention that my deposits into the Krungsri bank (From Wise) seem to be showing as local transactions ? (i do always pick the funds for long term stay in thailand tab) Will this be a issue when I apply with immigration in Sisaket ?
  13. I live in rural Thailand where it is no secret that alot of the drivers don't have a driving license. I don't drive a motorbike but from time to time I will be a passenger on my wife's family's bikes (they are insured but refuse to get a license as it's "normal") My question is if they ever had an accident and they didn't hold a driving license would the insurance company pay the medical costs ? And would they still pay mine as a passenger ?
  14. Following on from the cheapest weed thread it seems Green Crack and Thai Stick are the go to for cheap weed. When you look for the strains whether that be on Shoppe, online retailers or Facebook advertisements you find hundreds of different suppliers. (to many to test them all) So I've started this thread where you can review your Green Crack/Thai Stick and tell people where you got it from.
