This policy is simply mean.
The majority of Americans want a path to citizenship for the dreamers.
We do??? By letting this continue there is no deterrent for illegals coming in bringing their children. The only way to legal immigration/citizenship should be going through the proper channels like most people. You can debate it all you want but this is the right way, I am very impressed with Thailand‘s immigration policies, very simple and straightforward and if you don’t follow the rules you’re out of here. They are a perfect example of what immigration should be.

2 hours ago, Moonfire said:If you are Thai, you need to leave Thailand on a Thai passport (when you say you left it in Thailand is the first red flag about your post). Reason when your wife returns to Thailand she would enter on the same Thai passport she exited with, which will also have her departure card with it.
A Thai entering the Kingdom on a US passport, means she will have to follow the immigration rules that apply to the US passport and this is where the problems start.
It is a must leave on a Thai passport from Thailand, enter the US on the US passport, exit the US on the US passport, re-enter Thailand on the Thai passport that was used to exit Thailand at the start.
You want the Thai embassy to issue you a new Thai passport when you have NO exit stamp or departure card from the Thai passport you used to leave Thailand at the beginning.
Yes, you have a issue!

I did air-conditioning for over 10 years in the United States. My master bedroom is 40 m² and 70% windows with sun exposure all day and I have an 18,000 BTU unit. 12,000 BTUs is more than enough for you.

Yuk. How creepy could you possibly get. maybe it's your type that should go back home, coming here and taking advantage of poor women, or 'girls' as you refer to them, not really something you should be boasting about. You should be ashamed, or at least keep it to yourself, dude.
And I am sure you are completely innocent and never ever ever done something so disgusting or maybe you just like boys. Vagina, yukky!!!

This reminds me of when my friend cigar Bob died here in pattaya back in 2010. He was an American and had a Thai girlfriend who had an older daughter living with them. First the police come to investigate and looked for money or valuables. I was called to the scene and the cops had me reach my hand into his pocket and there was a big bag of Coke. I heard the crinkle crinkle and put it back in his pocket and the cop said what is that, show it to me, I pulled it out and put it on his chest and told the cop to arrest him. It actually was pretty funny to see the cops face and the anger and disappointment that he couldn’t make big money on it. Anyway to answer the OP, first the cops are called, second the embassy is notified called and they lock up the condo or home and if your girlfriend is not on the lease or the mortgage they tell them to take their personal belongings and to get out until the family sorts everything out. It basically is a big mess. So the moral of the story is to always be prepared not to make a large burden on your family or friends.

stockholm syndrome
Are you really gonna blame a whole country for one person who treated him badly? There are good and bad people in every culture and country. In life you need to be aware of predators that prey on the weak and naïve.
It really shows how dumb men are with the large amounts of sin sod given, especially to tattoo ridden multi child whores, the large monthly allowances handed out, and sending money up country to take care of a family that in most cases are younger than you. I have been living in Thailand for over 20 years and I still find it funny and shocking but not really surprised about the guys coming to Thailand and hooking up with hookers and marrying them. Night in shining armor syndrome. Rule of thumb trash is trash no matter how pretty it is. It’s the way they think. Stop believing all the sad stories they tell you. You would be really surprised on all the opportunities they have such as student loans and the many government programs that Thailand provides. Wake up already there is no excuses anymore with the internet and all the millions of blog sites out there on the subject.
After all the research the number one thing guys say, mine is different. Sorry to say, 99% of the time there NOT!

You dont want to do this; had it and was a disaster. When moving I built a pool whereby using a fiberglass basin, took 4 (four) days to install; with chlorinator, filters, piping and wiring THB 500K for an 8x4x1.3 metre pool. Happy like a fish in water. Pool supplier (Australian) in Rayong, delivered and installed on site in Nong Khai; can share details if you're interested ????
My friend in Pattaya Built a 8 m (l) x 4 m (w) x 1.75 (d) out of cement with all the trimmings for under 500k.

Not everybody is the same. When I am really hot in 40c of heat, I have a fan with its fixed direction on me. It is enough. I can tolerate the heat.
And I am sure if you had free electric you would still do the same ????

Vaccines are false sense of security
For those of you that think they don’t work and believe in all the BS conspiracy’s please do not get them, darwinism at its finest. I have 5 children and all have been fully vaccinated with every vaccine that has been available to them with ZERO side affects.

I had been hoping it was going to drop a bit more than that, but it seems to confirm a downward trend over the last ten days or so.
It would be very handy for numbers to drop away after the Songkran period has passed.
The numbers are dropping because they’re not testing enough people don’t be fooled fooled.

This is becoming really sad, not so much the virus but the manipulation of the public to a point of complete debilitation ????
First Thailand has a population of 69 mil and secondly the corona virus numbers are way more than what they are showing. They are testing around 500 a day with 10% infected. The USA is testing 10s of thousands a day. All countries are supposed to show real data but if you don’t have the test kits than you can’t test.

Pretty sure there is a section in the constitution which enshrines the rights of all Thai citizens to enter/return to the Kingdom
Surely this act is illegal?
Stop assuming that Thai LAW is like western law, please remember what country you’re in. It’s not called a Third World country for nothing.

My wife and I just went through swampy arriving from USA and no one screened us. Didn’t even see anyone screening anyone. When we went through nothing to declare, they were playing on the phones as well. And on top of all of that if anything, they are causing the spread of the virus by making everyone take fingerprints going in and out without having any hand sanitizer and towels to clean the scanner. And when you ask the immigration officer for something to clean it with, they look like a deer in headlights.

It’s strange they didn’t mention the total infected, I lost count. Maybe since it’s all lies anyway. My wife’s father works for the government and he said they quarantined 16 Thais who were infected from Korea and one ran away. I don’t seem to have read or heard or seen anything about this being mentioned anywhere, kind of strange don’t you think???
