You may well be right that they (decision makers) simply don't care.  Or perhaps they're under tremendous pressure to get the economy going somehow from elite business-owners who are already fully vaccinated and don't understand or care about the hurdles involved.

You may find that elite business is not affected by lockdowns, it are the small businesses that are affected.

The other day I read a report on Yahoo finance, and there was said the same. Big businesses had done a roaring trade during the corona lockdowns in the US, while smaller businesses had struggled to keep their head above water, and many had gone under.

You should get a turbocharged Hayabusa. Who wants one of those girly bikes in stock condition?

    354 km/h wheelie? ????

One of the riders of my team has held the wheelie world record for several years at 257.2 km/h, that was in the mid nineties, and the current world record is held by a Dutch man and stands at 343.3 Km/h, and trust me, you don't realize that on a highway

It can be very close. I just compared WISE with Schwab to Kasikorn (almost always .17 below Mid market rate at XE.com) and Schwab comes out ahead by 142 baht for $50K US. The big difference is whan rates are moving quickly, WISE locks you in...and with SWIFT you might get better or worse depending on when the xfer hits your Thai bank and whatever the rate is at that moment. You have about 24 hours of uncertainty.

With Wise you get currently 32.13 for a dollar, minus the fees, but with Kasikorn you get only 31.87.

Are there no intermediary bank fees when you send with Swab

    @digibum

Transferwise exchange rate is definitely better as it follows the market exchange rate quite closely.

    https://www.xe.com/currencycharts/?from=USD&to=THB&view=1Y

Of course, you must also compare their service charge.

I have compared Wise with Swift to Kasikorn, for 300.000 Euro, and however you can do maximum 50K Euro per transfer with wise, you are still way ahead.

Gramma clearly not your strong suit.

The first part of your statement was a sentence. BTW incorrect statement.

The second follow up "if your lucky?"

    Implies it could be longer.

In any event completely inaccurate and misleading post from you.

Try to open your eyes for one time.

My reply was a reply to a now removed post, who tried to ridicule my post where I said "Only in Thailand, you have to pay upfront for a vaccine", by claiming that in Australia you had to pay upfront to see a doctor.

I rejected that claim with my post, using sarcasm, which clearly went over your head.

    You're from Melbourne, Sir?

And then you get to see the doctor in 6 months.............if you're lucky?

Another person clearly not living in Oz.

It's easy to see a doctor and if you choose 'bulk billed' it's completely FREE.

Another person clearly blind. Did you see the question mark, and did they ever teach you the meaning of it in Australia???????

You don't have to pay for the Jabs if you Had registered Early ,There are quite a few of us already had the First Jab, I had AZ  Jab no problems

Sorry Sir, but give reading a try before you reply. This is about the Moderna vaccine, not the AZ vaccine, en there are quite a few posts on this forum from people who had registered, and their appointment cancelled.

    Have a nice day

So your water runoff is blocked.

Cesspit is supposed to be full of water up to the runoff pipe/outlet.

Emptying the cesspit will not clear the blocked runoff.

I don't know Scouse's setup, but not all cesspit's have a runoff pipe.

I have 3 plastic septic tanks. Each tank has the liquid overflowing in what I call a seeping tank, which consists of a number of concrete rings with a lid but no bottom, so the liquid just seeps into the ground.

I think important is also that the seeping tank has an air vent, at least mine have
