  1. Thank you. Have found the Hilti product but wasn't able to locate the "test tube" on Lazada. Could you please share the link?
  2. The picture shows a nylon plastic insert (in yellow) that is specifically designed to be used with chemical anchoring adhesives. Are there similar ones available for purchase in Thailand?
  3. Is that normally the case with every airline? As in no need for an onward ticket with the 60-day Tourist Visa?
  4. According to a recent thread you can go throuh the Thai line if traveling together. btw, how long did it take them to issue the Visa?
  5. Thank you for mentioning. I've never heard of it and wasn't aware of such an option. Have you actually done that yourself? Are there any other requirements other than entering the country together with a Thai Spouse? (e.g. entering with a Visa vs Visa exempt).
  6. Yeah, I do have a Thai bank account. The immigration office is up North in the sticks - not much of foot traffic and they seem to just follow published procedures without any "inventions" of their own.
  7. Hello. What is the current process for obtaining a conversion to a family Non-O Visa after entering Thailand on a Tourist visa? The goal is to obtain a 1-year extension in the end. Also, is there an actual benefit to entering the country on the tourist visa (besides the additional 30 days) as opposed to Visa exempt? Would the conversion process be the same? Thank you.
  8. It seems the requirements have been changed. It appears the Non-O 90-day visa to visit a Thai family now requires a bank statement showing an equivalent of 40,000 Baht in monthly income or a balance of 400,000 Baht. https://www.thaievisa.go.th/
  9. Call any Bluescope store and ask what kind of a material is being sold at the Bluescope branded store! Grand opening of a new store in Khon Kaen:

  11. It's been already posted earlier in this thread. The thinnest Zacs spec is 0.30mm
  12. Sure, most shops over here sell Non-Bluescope metal at cheaper and often much cheaper prices. My understanding is that their coated metal comes from Chinese and Korean factories. Yeah, must be a real good or better product compared to Bluescope's, which is an Australian company? ????
  13. Thailand warranties are nothing like in the West, but at least Bluescope produced metal clearly states its warranty length, lists material specs, has a chain of franchised shops with real good service and sourced from the factory, located right here in Thailand. How does it compare to the metal which offers zero warranty, is of unknown origin, spec and quality?
  14. They're Bluescope franchised stores, specifically created by Bluescope to serve as a public facing store-front for their products. Bluescope is not business of making (roller-forming) or selling roofs. They process and coat "raw" metal sheet and then sell it in huge rolls to roller-forming shops whose business is to deal with end customers. The Bluescope-franchised shop is the closest you can get to the manufacturer.
  15. An example of Bluescope Zacs product name print on the inner side of flashings:
  16. All of your material length is covered with foam? How about roof ends? The foam layer should stop at least 20 cm from roof's drip edges. And how about flashings? The are normally made from the same material.
  17. Every Bluescope franchised store sources its material directly from the Bluescope-owned coating factory.
  18. I think the manufacturer of ST-40-760PU specifically states in their product description that the material used is Bluescope, but I could be wrong. And If ST-40-760PU is not made out of Bluescope then what's the point of buying an "inferior" product if it's made out of a main material of unknown origin without a warranty??? While there are many Bluescope franchised stores positioned all over the country offering the real deal backed by a warranty?
  19. ST-40-760PU is the model number of their product - it has nothing to do with Bluescope's product designation.
  20. Can you elaborate more on your material thickness and also exact material? @Encid plans on getting Bluescope (I'd assume Colorbond) and if you've gotten the same material then it should carry warranty. Did you get Bluescope Colorbond branded steel (the logo stamped on the underneath) or some other Chinese or Korean metal sheet? It's not clear from your post what you mean by saying that your supplier has stated that there's no guarantee for your metal as it would be the case with Colorbond. Does it imply that your material is not sourced from Bluescope? Bluescope produced coated metal sheet comes in two versions: Colorbond and Zacs. Colorbond is warranted for 30 years and Zacs for 10-12. Both come in a variety of thicknesses, e.g. Zacs:
  21. On the attached label or in firmware settings?
  22. I should have asked them for the same thing during my install. Couldn't anticipate a potential problem later on about router substitution.
  23. Thank you. If there's no change with my current ISP then I'll switch to another provider that offers a specific BYOD service.
