  1. If I remember clearly it's been 25 yes since I was there (ufo club) and a lot younger then. My early 30"s

Mostly thais there of course. Back when there were no where near the amount of non thais that are here now. Could count on one hand the westerners there then

    Ah the good Ole days....

    Good memories...

  2. i have 2 slings running from stateside to here. a designated cable box for each slingbox preferably one that nobody will use but you.otherwise you end up watching what there watching. only1 user per box. u both cant b watching different channels at the same time off the same cable /sat box. i am using the solo slingboxes. But all in all its ok. my picture is just fair ... would b better probably if i had a tv with a vga input and connected to vga output of laptop.

    good luck

by the way sling is hooked up in the country your will recieve your signal from... for you the US /bros home

  8. the way i see it these soi dogs are not pets. as far as what i would call a pet. something u take care of feed and look after. shots, papers, medicine when sick etc. soi dogs around here get none of that. only have them to bark. dont get fed enough tear the garbage and spread down the road. try to get into your property and make trouble. sometimes they get in they get shot. doesnt take long for the rest to get the picture. im doing them a favor.. the heartworm, mange infested poor suffering things...

murder??? what???? better than being tortured by neglect???? from a slow diseased existence / death.....

responsibility something sorely lacking these days in this world....

i have pets i would not let them suffer as these dogs do.....

  9. in 20+ yrs coming backing and forth here i have a total of 3. there not rich by any means but i would trust them with my bank account. (not that I am wealthy either) but to them i probably look like I am doing ok.All 3 are educated and quite knowledgeable of the west on politics, sports, culture all at different degrees depending on what they are more interested in. they have steered me in the right direction many times. now that i think of it they are all Chinese Thai........

but i think it is strange that after all the time here its a total of 3.....

  10. same prob here... but what i did was go to where they sell the cheap red clay thai bbq/pit / bucket... in the bottom there is a clay fired circle with holes in it about an inch thick..prob 10-11 inches (20 cm) round. i use it to space up from the heat and it helps to not burn everything and can simmer with it... works for me.

there was a place next to ruamchok /rimping market that had them. small small thai shop. not sure its there anymore . but these things are very common here. those shops usually have just the circle/ring u want. and not the whole bbq thingy.
