The WHO literally parroted the talking points of the Chinese government for a month. They recommended against the one and only thing that would stop the spread of this virus; limiting air travel in and out of China. When notified by Taiwan that they had demonstrable evidence of person to person transmission of the COVID-19 virus, they continued to parrot the Chinese talking points and insistence that it was only animal to human transmission, ignoring the evidence because it came from Taiwan.... This of course was done for a political reasons not for world health reasons. The leadership at the top of the WHO needs to be scraped out of their chairs, sanitized and replaced much as any toxic mold would be after it infests your office. If the WHO had acted on the early warnings from Taiwan, the death toll would’ve been significantly reduced by early containment, tracking and isolation of infected travelers.

I am thinking that the steel roofing will be 24k Gold plated when installed at the prices she has gotten!

A company will be expensive who specialises in a certain product.
A recommended local builder who can roof can be very inexpensive using roof materials from say Global house to make a very sound insulated waterproof, heat proof roof.
If you have no knowledge of the building industry let alone Thailand let her get on with it.
I am doing what little I can from here to help her avoid being totally ripped off ???? Thank You for the advice, Much appreciated!

My Fiance is looking at removing a poorly done second floor at her parents house in Noen Maprang District/ Phitsanulok Province. She has been getting crazy high prices for steel roofing installation! Does anyone have any helpful advice/ suppliers/ cost estimates for good quality, insulated roofing? What are standard sheet dimensions and thicknesses? The house is 40 sq. meters. I appreciate any wisdom here! She is financing this project from her own funds and I don't want to see her robbed blind.

As a medical professional, I look for the evidence when I read such articles. This article amounts to nothing more than an opinion piece. I will give the author credit as it is stated that this was not a study but merely an analysis of numbers. But the numbers don’t take into consideration the general health of the patients before and after becoming sick. This drug has been around and widely used for 65 years. It was championed by the liberal media until Trump chose to mention it as a possible treatment. After that, the liberal media did a complete 180 and are now calling it potentially harmful and pointing out that there is no evidence that it is effective. It is true, there is no empirical or statistical data showing that these drug combinations are effective. These studies take time and large numbers of patients before the evidence becomes apparent. Articles like this end up being nothing more than smear pieces and leave you with the impression that you’ve been given facts when you’ve only been given opinions.
