Hello, part of my Family from Germany is visiting me next week in Thailand. They coming on a "Visa Exemption " I try to find what kind of documents they need, I'm sure they have looked it up by themselves already, but I want to make sure they have a smooth entrance and avoid any possible problems. I'm sorry I couldn't find a link to a website which is uptodate or a similar topic. So If someone would have a link it would be a good start. - Do they need to show 20.000,- baht as a family or every person? - Every person must pay 2000,- baht for the Visa Exemption on arrival. - They from Germany so they don't need to show a a covid pass or health insurance. - Every person must have and show the hotel booking confirmation and flight return ticket when they show up at the immigration desk? Or do they need that only once as a family? And did I miss something? Thank you.

Hard to say and to accept it, but there isn't any way that life is coming back to "normal". Like we know it before Covid. It's here to stay it and so are the restrictions, rising prices, vaccine or mask mandates, tests and so on. Even if you trying to ignoring it, you can't really, because it effects all of us, friends or family. And this isn't normal.

No problem. Wishing you a safe and joyful journey.

What are my best options? Looking for advice
bestie replied to rapidwtr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Sure you can. You mean you cannot get another ED Visa inside Thailand after one year of study at a language school.? that's true, because you have to leave the country after one year to apply for a new Ed Visa at the Thai Embassy. You can study any language over 3years or even more. Sure the formal process isn't so easy. If you study Thai language, the Embassy in some countries might test your thai skills before they issue you another visa. Like the one in Laos. The immigration can test you if you doing your 90day report. Isn't the best visa option. But of course you can have more than one ED Visa in your passport. -

Hi, you wrote> If you renewed your student visa last september how can your your student visa issued by your university expired after 3month? normally a student visa is good for 1year. ? are you sure about it, I mean it sounds to me you only missed your 90day report and your student visa is still ok? -
covid Visa extension Denied
bestie replied to freesudani's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
it depends on how you look at it. Compared to an elite visa or on how much education should cost. At the end ,in OP case and others who came on an ED, B Visa and who went on with the Covid extension, because they were hoping to get a new ED or B Visa as soon as the border would be open.....It will not make their bank account smaller. To say like “you stayed here to long on covid extension, leave“.. is like saying to all these private school teachers, “well we cant pay you this month“ The money he paid went direct to the school and that's what's been over looking. sad. -
covid Visa extension Denied

To get a new ED Visa he has to leave the country anyway to get a new one at the thai embassy. He can’t renew it inside the country. I would try to stay on the Covid extension don’t get on overstay. A Ed Visa isn’t cheap , a private school can take 20 - 30k baht for a year, than he has to pay 1,900 baht every 90 days. + every year a trip out of Thailand . Around 1K US Dollars a year for a student. That isn’t cheap. -
Some runners had an Ed , B , O Visa which requires to leave the country every year to get a new visa. No some are not over 50 years old and no some are even not married. So to throw these people out or stress them out who went one with the Covid Extension because they had no alternative to get a new visa is a little bit … weird It would make more sense if the borders would be open or they would have an alternative like a Covid extension to stay until the borders are ready. Sure you can make a border run but it really makes no sense and I doubt that many would come back to Thailand with a new visa . seems like this is the new normal.

Will this pandemic ever end as the infections in the UK surge again.

No, and it could get worse in the near future. Like Bill Gates said: Wait until the next pandemic. -

It's a common problem in Thailand that especially Thai Girls facing. When you not slim you ugly. It's really horrible. That's why I don't like your title. Laughing about people how they look is a really bad behavior. Sorry to say that. Realize that most of these slim Thai Girls aren't running all day or joining the Gym. They only don't eat much to get do the dream figure. Eating is the key. If you feel ok with yourself don't listen to the outside world. Wish you all the best -
I was there and closed because of Covid. No further information when it will open up again.
