  1. I entered Thailand last week, and it was the first time I've ever been asked for a return flight ticket. Both the airline and immigration officer asked. I made a fake ticket and immediately regretted it after I was called over to a special immigration desk for additional questions and scrutiny of my "ticket", but luckily they were eventually satisfied with it. Next time I'll just buy a cheap ticket to Singapore or KL.
  2. There's only one direct flight to Bangkok from where I am, and it arrives early in the morning. Should I book the required Test and Go hotel stay for the previous night or the next one? Or will I have to book 2 nights?
  3. Is it realistic to get it approved in 3-4 business days if everything is in order and I have a local friend who can call them if things get stuck?
  4. For anyone else looking at Etihad, I haven't confirmed it, but it appears that they require the more expensive PCR test for all flights.
  5. A quick search showed a result charging 3,500 which seems a bit much. Is there a better alternative that would meet the requirements to fly to the US? Do I need the "fit to fly" certificate? The US embassy doesn't mention it.
  6. I've looked at a few of the signup websites for foreigners, but they all seem to require long-term visas. Is there anywhere I can register since I arrived in 2020 as a visa exempt tourist? I'm in Phuket and would like to get the vaccine here. I'll be visiting my home country soon (where covid is even worse than in Thailand currently), but would prefer to get a vaccine before traveling internationally.
  7. So domestic tourists who have been vaccinated are now allowed to enter? That's a pretty big change.
  8. The current ban on domestic tourism to Phuket was originally set to expire tomorrow. Does anyone know whether it has been extended?
  9. Where did you see 81 cases reported? I only see 42: https://thethaiger.com/news/national/covid-update-sunday-19983-infections-provincial-total
  10. They usually say going back anytime up to a week after the under consideration date is fine.
  11. The final stamp must be done at the same office. It may be possible to have a friend or agent bring your passport to the office though.
