The fields / land are registered. Easy to trace the owner of the fields and arrest them. The truth is the police are scared of farmers and what they may do to them. I have been to " Walking Street " many times but still don't know why Thais call it walking street as it is still a road used by vehicles as the picture clearly shows. Even when the road is closed to vehicles you still run the risk of being hit by a motorcycle ( who have no respect for any traffic laws )

I have been to the police training camp in Ubon and they have a Parachute training tower on the camp. But whether they actually jump from an aircraft or balloon I do not know.

The Thai government supports dual pricing. All national parks operate dual pricing often 10x that of a Thai. So courts will obviosly support the government and approve dual pricing, Thais attitude is ALL Farangs are rich so they will pay more. The fact that many Farangs are retirees and have limited funds does not even concern them. It is just a case of Give me money please you have no choice so hard luck. When ever I am faced with Dual pricing I just say pee-ba and walk away.
