  1. the last time he had a normal 30 days exempt with some border runs was years ago, after he married but he got divorced but now he would like to come back as a tourist after he left thailand since 6 months
  2. I am asking for a friend of mine! Does it worth to make a new passport if the current one has too many stamps but it still has many free pages? My friend would like to come back to thailand but he is afraid that immigration officer could deny him to enter because of too many stamps on his passport. By the way he is abroad right now and it's already 6 months that is out of thailand
  3. I do 2 border run. 30+30 extension at the local immigration. After that I do a few border runs. Total 4 months
  4. People here are too paranoid. Why it should be a problem if someone wants to come to Thailand every 6 months for example? It's not mandatory to get a proper visa if the intention is to stay in Thailand only for 4/6 months. Everybody could come with a 30 days exempt . I stay 4/6 months in Thailand and the rest in my country. After come back to Thailand, no issues at all
  5. The issue you could have is if immigration officer at the airport will check that you have too many exempt stamps in your passport, he could complain or not, is up to him. I come back to Thailand with a 30 days visa exempt but I don't leave the country every month, I am just doing a few border runs and after that I will exit. I like to come back to Thailand every 6 months or a year, I think no issues if you do like that
  6. I flew a couple of months ago and before buying a plane ticket I asked the airline live agent for information if it was necessary to buy an onward flight too! they told me that they did not interest to ask for a return ticket or onward flight. I bought it anyway, just in case, paid it just 12 USD. When I arrived at the check in counter(I checked in online too) the staff didn't ask me for it, also the immigration officer at the airport in Bangkok didn't ask for it
  7. You can do border run or apply for a 60 days tourist visa at the Thai embassy in Laos
  8. Why use e-visas when you can just go to Thailand with a free 30 days visa at the airport? You could just extend your stay at your local immigration, very easy and you can save money. Or maybe people from new Zealand can't get a visa exempt, I don't know
  9. Just buy an onward flight within 30 days of the 30 days visa exempt. Very easy
  10. Can someone suggest me an onward flight that always works? For what country for example
  11. Calm down guys, don't bite too much lol. I've already booked a one way ticket and I will buy an onward flight at the airport, very easy 😝
  12. There is no need to have a return ticket to the country of origin, it's also fine to have an onward ticket to exit Thailand within 30 days
  13. I am coming back to Thailand with a free 30 days visa exemption. I know that I must have an onward flight to exit Thailand within 30 days but I just wanted to know if I also have to show a proof of accomodation at the immigration officer at the airport arrival or isn't necessary. Thai embassy in my country only say to have a proof of accomodation if applying for a tourist 60 days e-visa but they do not mention it with a free visa exemption
  14. foreigners give money to them country, they should thanks. Try to imagine if folks stop to go to stay there, thais would feel desperate losing a lot of money that foreigners bring to their country, because you know that thailand is a tourist country
  15. to me nothing is illegal in thailand as there is a lot of corruption and thai immigration likes money so much! i think you didn't understand anything about that country
  16. why? If someone just wants to stay more in thailand? totally nonsense
  17. immigration make money with ed visas, they share it with the agencies. And they hate? Lol
  18. That why many farangs use agency and get extension from different immigration office. Ok pay more money but no stress every year with this immigration officer
  19. I like thailand as a country but i never liked this thai immigration, too many rules, too much stress every year with this visas, renewal visas ecc.
  20. A friend of mine flew to Thailand without visa, he got 30 days visa exempt without buying an onward flight outside Thailand. Airline company and the immigration didn't ask him anything. This is the second time that he fly to Thailand without an onward ticket
