I know that when you take money from your Thai bank account in another province you get charged for it. But what about when you deposit money into your bank account in another province? Do all banks in Thailand charge you for this also?
Yes with SCB

I live in Bangkok. Yesterday we had 3 hours of rain in the morning. There was no smell of smoke. And the air quality seemed to be OK.
Unfortunately today in Bangkok, the smog is back; there has been no rain; the AQI for PM2.5 is on the increase and there is no apparent action from the PM's office apart from a lot of hot air.

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin today ordered the transfer of two top national police generals, Pol Gen Torsak Sukvimol and Pol Gen Surachate Hakparn, to inactive posts at Government House for two months
The PM's office appears to be the new hub of inactivity.

Anutin said he does not want people who behave in this manner to live in Thailand, pointing out that Thais welcome everyone with friendliness
Wasn't a nut in charge the person who coined the phrase "dirty farang"? Very welcoming.

Phuket Deputy Governor Adul Chuthong said today that Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul ordered an investigation of foreign criminal gangs in Phuket
You know that it is going to be a problem when a nut in charge appears on the scene.

The photo on the first page and the TV coverage at the Police Station leads me to believe that this is some sort of marketing campaign for the Elephant Sanctuary.

I have had Bolt drivers say they want cash when I am already paying on my CC through the app.
They were ok when I explained that though.
Another Bolt driver messaged me before pickup that he wanted cash so I canceled as same problem, and I don't want to pay twice.
Has never happened to me with Grab.
I had a BOLT driver yesterday (Jomtien to Laemchabang) wanting to increase the fare from 242 to 300 because it was out of his way. I told him to cancel the ride and booked another.

There is a large amount of gold in the picture. Is that counterfeit as well?

Looking out the window, I cannot see a lot in the distance, so it must have returned to some higher level.

A lot of addressing by JGG, but not much action or implementation.

Is the GGJ trying to find his niche as part of TAT, as his days as Prime Minister are coming to an end soon?

My wife started laughing when she saw the difference between the pictures of Thaksin arriving in August and leaving hospital yesterday. She said it does not paint a good picture of Thailand's healthcare system. She also said that the Bang Phlat Police Officers must have been on special pay for a Sunday to help control the traffic in the neighbourhood. Amazing Thailand!

During all my travels, I have only had one serious incident about 20 years ago from CPH to the old BKK, upstairs on a Thai 747-400, where a Norwegian decided he wanted to try to open the upstairs door at about 36,000 feet. Luckily, two stewards and a couple of us passengers subdued him and he was handcuffed to his seat. He was greeted by the police in Bangkok.

Another case of "keep the red flag flying high" to appease Thailand's communist brethren.

What about the Russian who was "punished" with a fine for kicking the pregnant Thai lady? Any comment from a nut in charge on that one or is he waiting to top up his Swiss bank account?
