  1. What about the Russian who was "punished" with a fine for kicking the pregnant Thai lady? Any comment from a nut in charge on that one or is he waiting to top up his Swiss bank account?
  2. Unfortunately today in Bangkok, the smog is back; there has been no rain; the AQI for PM2.5 is on the increase and there is no apparent action from the PM's office apart from a lot of hot air.
  3. Did you do your schooling in Thailand?
  4. Wasn't a nut in charge the person who coined the phrase "dirty farang"? Very welcoming.
  5. He will build up a few airmiles this month.
  6. You know that it is going to be a problem when a nut in charge appears on the scene.
  7. The photo on the first page and the TV coverage at the Police Station leads me to believe that this is some sort of marketing campaign for the Elephant Sanctuary.
  8. Unfortunately, Red B*ll are already donating to other causes.
  9. I would imagiune he was very fit after all that running. Well done!
  10. I had a BOLT driver yesterday (Jomtien to Laemchabang) wanting to increase the fare from 242 to 300 because it was out of his way. I told him to cancel the ride and booked another.
  11. There is a large amount of gold in the picture. Is that counterfeit as well?
  12. Looking out the window, I cannot see a lot in the distance, so it must have returned to some higher level.
  13. Is the GGJ trying to find his niche as part of TAT, as his days as Prime Minister are coming to an end soon?
  14. My wife started laughing when she saw the difference between the pictures of Thaksin arriving in August and leaving hospital yesterday. She said it does not paint a good picture of Thailand's healthcare system. She also said that the Bang Phlat Police Officers must have been on special pay for a Sunday to help control the traffic in the neighbourhood. Amazing Thailand!
  15. During all my travels, I have only had one serious incident about 20 years ago from CPH to the old BKK, upstairs on a Thai 747-400, where a Norwegian decided he wanted to try to open the upstairs door at about 36,000 feet. Luckily, two stewards and a couple of us passengers subdued him and he was handcuffed to his seat. He was greeted by the police in Bangkok.
  16. Of course, data is available. Just ask those wonderful people at TAT.
  17. Another case of "keep the red flag flying high" to appease Thailand's communist brethren.
  18. Quadruple WHO standards? A bit like the PM 2.5. Thailand the hub of quadruples.
  19. It cannot have been the B*ss fellow then, as he would have provided someone else to take the blame.
