  1. Do you have any prior history of being in Thailand before these 3 visa exempt entries? It could be a determining factor. And yes, you may get in trouble if you land in Bangkok or Phuket. I would do a border bounce if you still have some left for this year (can do 2 per year).
  2. I was surprised I could get it done as well haha. French citizen. Took just under 1 month to get the passport. It takes 3 months to do so in France... They give priority for people abroad, who obviously need passports in a timely manner. But, you need an appointment which you make online and has to be at least 3 weeks in advance. So, 2 months is about right in total.
  3. Spot on, that's exactly what happened. Was taken to another special desk and it took 5 minutes to process. Thank you everyone for your answers and help.
  4. Thank you all for your responses. As suggested, I will just go to the airport and they should be able to manage with both passports. I'll report when I'm back from my trip if there was any issues or not.
  5. Good advice, will definitely try to call the immigration office tomorrow morning.
  6. Hi guys, Here is my situation: I last arrived in Bangkok on visa exempt and had it extended for 30 days. In the meantime, I applied for a new passport (EU citizen) and managed to get it done here which I received last week. They canceled my old passport, gave it back to me along with my new passport. Question: Do I have to transfer the stamp at Bkk's immigration, or can I just go to the airport with both passports to exit the country? Thank you
  7. I never understood why so many times they would leave many blank pages and stamp many pages later. Happened to me many times and it confuses other IOs every time I come back. And yet these same confused IOs leave more blank pages and stamp at the back end...
  8. Good job by the grandfather. Shame on the other parents. I know poverty is real but letting the guy who raped/abused my child pay me off to get scot-free, impossible to imagine...
  9. TM30 is indeed needed. Thank you for leaving the details here, it sure will help others. ????
  10. Thailand is going to enter its low season soon, I don't see why not honestly. They still need a lot of tourists to recover from Covid. The longer they stay, the better it is.
  11. Honestly OP, I would consider your offer if extensions were not to be renewed every 90 days. With time, I'm traveling less and less outside Thailand and trips to Chaengwatthana stress me out even though with Elite it always goes smooth. Wish you to find the right buyer for your product.
  12. OK, tu as donc 45 jours actuellement. After your 45 days, you can extend (in Bangkok or somewhere else) for another 30 days. If you want to stay longer, you'll have to exit and come back to Thailand one more time.
  13. Oh, wonderful ???? Well, at least he had to pay that gruesome 10,000B fine! Hit them where it hurts!
  14. So, probably stole hundreds of millions of Baht and will get 4 months in jail? pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
  15. I went to do that visa exempt extension at Laksi recently. Arrived around 10am and it was quite fast. 50 minutes total I would say. The staff helping out with forms told me I definitely would need a TM30 considering I had multiple visas issued in different provinces in the past. I luckily had a screenshot of my TM30 made by my GF online. I went to the shop nearby to print it and make copies of my passport. I had to fill 3 forms in total which was short to do. Staff were all very nice and no questions were asked. The copy shop staff was really pleasant and helpful too.
