A group of female police officers heroically intervened to save a Thai woman from a drunken foreigner who was attempting to drag her away on Khao San Road during the final days of the Songkran festival.
The officers, part of the 4th company of the 1st Crowd Control Division, received a distress call from the public about a quarrel. Without hesitation, they sprinted towards the scene. Upon arrival, they found the foreign man in a drunken state, trying to forcibly take the Thai woman with him. The woman appeared terrified and helpless against the advances of the inebriated man.
The officers acted swiftly to separate the man from the woman, ensuring her safety. Their intervention was not only timely but also demonstrated a commitment to protecting citizens and upholding public order during what is typically a time of celebration and joy.
In a reassuring development, no legal action was taken as the woman did not wish to press charges, allowing the matter to be resolved without further incident.
Such acts of bravery and service by the female crowd control police officers serve as a reminder of the essential role they play in maintaining peace and security, especially during large public gatherings like the Songkran festival.
This reads like a North Korean news dispatch.

For basically the last month I have been sitting in my condo with the aircon on, going between youtube, this forum and lot of other stuff. I'm srue others are doung the same. Try to get out for a walk in the morning but the swimming pool is too hot to swim in. Plus, they keep pouring more chemicals into it to make it look clean, its toxic.
Don't feel safe driving out there as I know if there is an accident, its my fault even if it isn't. Good auto insurance etc, but we still know. Praying for rain.
this is pathetic.

congratulations Asean now, not only have you broken your own community standards by posting full-length nude photographs, you have also made the man a clearly identifiable laughingstock in his distress.
Are clicks really that hard to come by?

It is worth noting that there are no public restrooms available to the public or to tourists. Asking shops to use their toilets is a waste of time because they will refuse. Most bars will demand you buy drink if coming in to use their toilet. This area is a good example of not providing for the needs of the tourists that walk around spending money in the shops. What this man did was abhorrent, but in considering he probably had nowhere else to go except in his pants. He chose this option. Also, the Thai security guard aided and most likely suggested the man use that water to wash himself. Even aiding by spraying a hose on the guy since he had already got some crap in his pants. Thailand wants all these tourists, but they leave little choices in providing things like trash cans and toilets which in turn causes behavior that can make them look bad.
I would bet this man never once did this type of action before.
You don't ask, you just head for the toilet.
Anyways its pretty clear that the guy is not right, he is clearly dazed in the video that so kindly provides a close up of his face. To watch another person in distress and do nothing is one thing, to sit by and take extensive, detailed video and post it online is heinous.Nobody does this kind of thing willingly in public.
Kudos to the security guard who had the kindness to hose him off.- 1

Indeed, he chased off trespassers from his property, and gave the finger to an ambulance, what else?
except it wasn't his property and they weren't trespassed and he kicked rather than chased.
Other than that your post is factually accurate.

Mr Fehr faces a charge under Section 391 for assaulting Dr Thandao Chandam on February 24th 2024. At the same time, Mr Anutin is on record as assuring the Swiss man that his appeal against the cancellation of his visa will not succeed. Mr Anutin is the ultimate adjudicator under the 1979 Immigration Act.
As I have said before (and been called paranoid) this whole situation has gained momentum because it dovetails with "somebody" in the government's agenda.

Why should he? He/they have already put up fencing. Chicken owner doesn't give a toss. Why should he/they go to the trouble of surrounding their trees on their property? How is that not obvious?
Because he wants his trees to survive. It is an inexpensive solution that protects the trees.
nothing says he can't continue trying to get the onwer to take responsibility, but why beat your head against the wall taking a pointless stand>

I am currently staying at my main house with mrs. smith.
we have just arrived back after a nice little vacation touring around Thailand.
I came back home early this morning and noticed that the yard was a bit messy so i got the broom out and started sweeping.
About 10 minutes later I heard a noise from over my fence.
it was the juristic girl,
she said hello and asked me if I was thai.
I said no,
she then said in broken english, ‘oh i'm so sorry but you cannot be working here’
I said i'm not working i'm cleaning my house.
to which she replied, that under thai law that is classed as work and I cannot do it without a work permit.
she said that they offer cleaning services in the project and I was stealing jobs from a Thai.
so I said what happens if I spill some coffee on the floor, can I mop it up or do I have to call a thai to come to do it?
she just smiled and walked away..
I was stunned.
she said that if i didn't stop immediately she would take a photo and send it to the head office.
I reluctantly stopped and went to make a brew inside.
is she correct in what she is saying?
under thai law is it illegal for a foreigner to clean his own house and the land that it sits on?
it’s absolute madness imo.
they seem to be watching us like hawks at the moment, looking for any excuse to catch us out..
regards,
bob.

19 hours ago, OneMoreFarang said:I think it is amazing how many farangs here want that the Swiss guy should go to jail and be thrown out of Thailand and whatever else punishment.
Is what he did really such a huge crime in your eyes?
Did you do ever anything illegal in Thailand, maybe pay a girl for a service or so? Remember, that is illegal in Thailand. You should go to jail and thrown out. Or maybe not?
Yes, he did something wrong, and he should be punished. But he didn't kill her. He didn't injure her so that she couldn't walk. He didn't injure her so that she is permanently disabled. He kicked her, it hurt a little, and that was about it.
Uh huh.
it is amazing how some here can turn everything back to the sex trade.
so paying a sex worker for their service is a crime equivalent to kicking her?that is some quality logic right there

He kicked the wrong person.
The family has been waiting for this all their lives it seems.I wonder who is whispering in their ear?
They wouldn't pursue this with such fortitude if it didn't meet some political agenda
