Got them in London
. Not the fee Wi-Fi though
They did refer to that and didn't claim that it was a world's first.

I really hope they do that.
They're adding more and more people allowed to enter but the number of available rooms is not being increased at the same pace.
Those rooms are being made available again every 14 days!

Why not?... why shouldn’t Thailand allow those who have made a commitment to Thailand in?
If there are available flights and ASQ facilities it costs nothing for Thailand to permit their return.
For some reason some people think it ok to be sanctimonious about these issues.
People have made commitments to Thailand, they have retirement visa’s, long term rental contracts, own Condo’s etc... Why not allow these folk to return to their homes????
It makes no sense whatsoever.
Neither does Covid-19, and that is the only thing that is stopping their return.

If you mean Thailand you are wrong. They are allowing mail to arrive.
Maybe or maybe not been waiting for a letter says its held us as Thai will not allow mail to arrive.
USPS are lying to you. I've had a packet from Plano, Texas, two letters from Canada and three packages from China in the past two weeks. Thailand sure will allow mail in.

You're really stretching logic to ridiculous limits with this, how can the DL of anyone not convicted of a motoring offence be revoked?
I don’t know. I didn’t say they could.
"Hopefully his license will be taken away when he returns?" sure suggests that you think it could be.

Not hard to envision a day when someone on a few days' overstay gets met at an MRT station and dragged to the IDC for a big fine and blacklist, instead of quietly paying a small overstay fee when they leave at the airport.
Could be quite an earner... It would fit right in with the smart cars.
There's an solution to that potential problem...don't get on overstay, stay legal if you don't want interaction with the authorities. Has your vision ever been reported as happening as a result of BTS cards having to be registered or foreigner's phones having to be registered with passports?

Hands up how many farangs reverse up a one way street without a clear view of what's behind them risk assessment is just a wishful experiment here hope the little one is ok you have been failed by all involved adults ????
"Hands up how many farangs reverse up a one way street without a clear view of what's behind them risk assessment"
You're joking, of course! No foreigner on Thaivisa ever does anything that contravenes the rules of whatever exercise they're involved in or contradicts any moral values connected to any subject, that is a fact, documented here daily by the personifications of perfection that interact on this forum

Big difference between an innocent accident when you are behaving lawfully and causing death because you are speeding whilst pi**ed up and breaking the law. pretty simple to understand, is it not?
I understand, and so should everyone else, that the accident caused by Vorayuth, that resulted in the death of the RTP officer, was just that, an accident, it was not deliberate.

I am sure they received a payout to keep them quiet.
I presume by "they" you don't mean the dead and injured who received nothing, according to the reports I read.
I'm assuming that by "the dead and injured who received nothing" you mean the one person who died whose relatives received a multi-million baht compensation package?

Do you have any evidence to support your assertion on compensation?
IIRC, the amount quoted as being offered/paid at the time of the funeral was paltry.
The amount is not in dispute, it was B3m and that has been widely publicised.

Yes, it was an accident and no, you can't do that with premeditation, that would be murder.
Yes, it would be murder. And that’s exactly why Incidents which involve people driving under the influence are not called ‘accidents’.
An accident implies no one is to blame. As soon as you drive your vehicle drink, you are to blame.
Give it a rest, in this context, describing it as an accident implies that it wasn't deliberate, that's all, blame doesn't come in to the description of this initial event unless there was deliberate intention.

80 % of the top of the Thai police should be in jail and we all know why. No respect at all for Thai Police, sorry.
Why? The RTP wanted this case to proceed, the decision to drop it wasn't theirs, it was the prosecutor's.

The one Yinn mentioned are sponsored by the European owner of the Red Bull brand and yes they should have reacted a long time ago to tell the public about the little A hole in Thailand.
They're sponsored by Red Bull, not by "one of the owners"!

Kinda like OJ Simpson in the US of A. Didn't he get away with murder because of his wealth?
Nothing like Simpson, Vorayuth didn't murder anyone, never mind two people.

Then you have no need to worry. Let me express condemnation (something we should all do when faced with injustice) while you accept it.
Do something, anything, concrete about it,
not only words on a forum behind an anonymous nickname,
and I will review my opinion.
Hear, hear. They call it "virtue signalling", these days!

What a disgrace!! RTP are obviously on the take for this to happen! They should be ashamed of themselves for treating a fellow officers death in this manner. Sad.
Nothing to do with the RTP's decision, obviously you haven't read much about this.

Why would anyone outside Thailand care enough to start or participate in a Boycott?
Why would anyone (not Thaivisa foreigners) inside Thailand care enough to start, or participate in, a boycott?

"There are many similar from a few years ago in Bangkok. Totally dilapidated and unused".
Really? Where are those "smart stops" that you're referring to?
