Six million Thai senior citizens still not boosted against COVID-19
DirtyHarry55 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
What I have heard they're worried that old people will die if they take the vaccine. -
What risk to Thailand as monkeypox spreads across the world?
DirtyHarry55 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
With around 10,000 people dying per year from TB they should probably worry more about that. P.s good reason to continue wearing a face mask especially in Taxis. -
PM seeks Public Cooperation To Address Road Safety
DirtyHarry55 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Haha nothing done in the past 5 years but with elections coming soon lets look like we care a bit. Does he think he really think he will last until 2050? -
Nice marketing trick calling it "QUARANTINE FREE" when your still have to do 1 Day Quarantine so it's not really.

This was always gonna happen and on the 1st November it will be delayed until 1st December, then 1st January etc. etc. Until the population is at least 70% fully vaccinated there's not even any point to talk about opening up and they know it but still make promises they know they won't keep just to keep em happy for a while. Lying is deemed OK in Thailand if it's seen to be for the greater good or saves face.

Sinovac has one big advantage over other vaccines, official says
DirtyHarry55 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
They ordered the first Chinese Sinovac vaccines last in November before even WHO approval at $17 a shot and they were instantly approved by FDA. They didn't order other western vaccines until a few months ago had they ordered other vaccines at the same time they would have arrived already. Private hospitals were supposed to order western vaccines but were blocked by the FDA and red tape. -
Wow maybe hopefuly they'll disclose the assets of the PM and Wissanua without having to go to Court for it.

Thailand reports 16,031 COVID-19 cases, 220 deaths
DirtyHarry55 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It's bound to go up a little everyday but still no where near enough even 20% isn't enough. Let's not forget half of them were vaccinated with Sinovac which is pretty useless against the Delta variant did they already receive a 3rd booster shot? -
Thailand reports 16,031 COVID-19 cases, 220 deaths

With only 11% of the population fully vaccinated I am not surprised. With Thailand being so reliant on Tourism they should have been one of the World leaders in vaccinating. -
Palang Pracharat settles on coexistence with powerful rebel minister
DirtyHarry55 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well this is Thailand everything's possible those Salim in power don't care what the population think they will put the man in power offering the most benefits. I heard the question asked if Thammanat could have led this rebellion without Prawit's blessing I think the answer is a resounding no. -
Ex-police chief ‘Joe Ferrari’ has 600 MILLION baht in assets
DirtyHarry55 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Cops get like 30-50% commission on every bust they make and he seized something like 600 luxury cars so its possible same with tickets that's why they do it but its crazy they get so much commission. -
Thailand reports 13,821 new COVID-19 cases and 241 more deaths

With only 12% of the populations fully vaccinated and opening up the Country you would logicly expect numbers to increase not decrease. Something Fishy going on? -
The Emergency Decree SOE is the main tool being used against Street protesters so I can't see it not being extended. Course they know with only 12% of the population fully vaccinated and opening up the country infections will likely increase not decrease. I wonder if this is more a political threat as they wouldn't be able to crack down on student protesters.
