  1. After going to Vientianne (After 14 year hiatus) and surviving that molestation for 1 day, I decided to come back and enjoy Thai new year. I am now going to apply for 90 day extension of visa exempt stamp of 30 days. Using form TM87 In the guidelines it states in section 6.1.3 a copy of letter certifying marital status before registration of marriage(certifying applicant is single) in absense of such letter, a copy thereof obtained from District office where the marriage was registered. Firstly, wtf? Secondly has anyone experienced needing this, I don't understand how a letter can exist but also I was married in Bangkok but live in Chiangmai. Regards
  2. This is indeed accurate and I thank you for your straight forward, Non pious replies.
  3. Indeed, a young father who unlike his antiquated cohorts can read that Thailand gives the most hours of education, for the worst results, globally. I have had experience with the supposedly highest of education tiers and all in between. By all means, put your children into that. I reserve the judgement to educate them to a higher standard and in more relevant topics, than on offer here. But of course, that might be too broad a lexicon, for you to handle. We each have our own limits of ability. My children, are luckily not your concern, I think they would welcome that.
  4. Last question, when going to nong khai to Vientiane what time do you need to get there before offices shut to pass through the Laos side? When coming back from Vientiane, lets say an appointment at the thai embassy isnt possible(for 90day non-o), can I just leave back to Thailand and get 30 days (have money in bank, have air ticket outbound) and then try sometime after songkran to get my non o in savannahkhet?
  5. Have you used this yourself? On a side note... Does anyone know, if I get a 90 day single marriage visa from Laos can i extend that to a year anytime after I get back to thailand, as in 10 days later. I know theres a minimum but is there a max, if you see what i mean? Regards
  6. Please feel free to point out where in my words I state such a thing? My questions were genuine and your answers were well received (not so much the other guy). Well, I cant even tell if Mae sai is open to foreign passports...
  7. This isnt nickpicking, these are retorts to other peoples odd questions and statements. I dont understand why youre offended.
  8. The royal thai embassy page states you need to have a flight exiting within 30 days, and if you dont have you might be refused.
  9. So just to confirm specifics. If i go to the border in mae sai, go out and come back in, I will get 30 days?
  10. Dont you live on this forum, doing that exact thing... as everyone else here can see and testify to? Maybe take your own advice and wind your neck back in, or by all means continue as a hypocrite. Who said I wasnt dealing with it? Im making it clear on a public forum that there are holidays coming up, and as this is my thread the relevance to my topic and others. I didnt season funds as i had many times before, because as i was about to, i was incapacitated by covid for 2 weeks. Unfortunate but no big deal. Maybe rather than giving advice like youre Jesus and expecting adulation for it, you should step off your high horse and chill out. I didnt point it out as a flaw, but a reality, like holidays and weekends for immigration services, pandemics and life.
  11. Why before friday, not on it? Thursday is a holiday. I thought border runs were 15 days not 30, or do you mean border run, fly back to? Regards
  12. Considering you dont know my state of affairs, nor does it impinge on you, i wouldnt worry. Blame would be neccessary if it was a concern.
  13. Has anyone ever reapplied for an extension after it was refused? Ie. Applied, refused, then given 7 days to leave, and then reapplied? Regards
  14. The only issue now is my extension runs out on the 7th. I was going to go today to savannakhet. Get it done tomo wed 5th But its a thai holiday on the 6th..... So one day and then chaos on the friday.... If theres only 2 people on a wednesday why cant they go back to same day fulfilment... I tried vientienne online appointment apparent nothing this side of april....tit
  15. I originally entered in 2007, responding to the question phrased in this way, But as i mentioned, most importantly, to what the posters question actually meant, my last entry was 2020.
  16. The only issue I forsee is school pictures, they are home schooled. That and I also read in the child support exrension, is namely for those partners of dead or divorced thai nationals, so as to care for a child.
  17. Sorry, Im in my 30s, so please forgive me if I dont understand what a... morality ticket is.. or indeed, where I would purchase such an antiquated sounding item. Corruption is ingrained in societies, (its the one point you got right). Its riddled Thailand like a disease, because people like you, tell yourselves, you are more important than everyone else, at the expense of everyone else. I fortunately take responsibility for my life, even in error, and dont look to pass it off, into the realm of criminality for an "easier life." Maybe its because theres so much of it left to live, Im not so desperate to sell my wife or my children down the sewage canals, created by those like you. Perhaps if people didnt denigrate themselves, like you clearly do, institutions like immigration, wouldnt be the cestpit of detritus that it is. Of course if you could read, as all others managed, you would notice that my prose state very dinstinctly, that for me, personally, its not something i want to promulgate. So I choose not to, and, answered as much, as a reply to another's comment, rather than some political activity you seemed to have framed it as. I made no further judgement on others, but as you pushed me, I feel it now an imperative to disabuse you of your morally bankrupt piety.
  18. In this scenario, (please correct me if im wrong, if I understand you), I; 1)goto immigration apply for reentry permit. (Can do tomo 4th) 2)Leave to border (same day) 3)Enter back in. (Same day 4th) 4)Go to immigration apply for 60 day extension. 5th, 6th (7th last day of extension) Are you suggesting immigration might not like it, thats why its messy, and so best to confirm if this is acceptable? Regards.
  19. Thank you, its greatly appreciated. Yes, ive done many covid 60 day, 1 marriage 60 day and 2x 1 year extensions. With this current extension ending on the 7th. Im not worried specifically about the perceptions of immigration or the flak recieved, but it is noted. I think Laos might be the best option. Regards
  20. Im british. I originally entered Thailand in 2007, but if you mean the last time I entered thailand, it was at mae sai border in 2020 as I was on a non O multi. I then used covid extensions. After which, I used up my 60 day extension. Since then I have been on extensions and have not left Thailand. All of this has been done under marriage, albeit I have 2 children. But they are home schooled, because of the general abuse by teachers and lack of quality education in Thailand. Regards
