I read in the Thaiger last night that the visa amnesty is extended until sept 26th. But cannot find it in any other mainstream Thai papers.
Does anyone know for sure, Or is it the usual speculation again.
is it approved as actually in Law?
There are no exact details.
Do tourist visas have to report before 31st July?

If you live outside the big cities, near a rural area, close a temple, you know when it's 4am because the Bells ring. By 5am it's the birds, roosters and dogs that should wake you. If that doesn't work there's always the Kubodas rubbing past. If you're still dozing at 6am the Town Cryer announcing the local news events with his music blasting full noise might rouse you. After this, if you're still away with the fairies, the sun should do the job . If I've had an unusually long sleep because I'm extra tired, the trickle of sweat running off my brow and into my eye signifies it's time to wake up and enjoy another day in paradise !

Part of the fun is go to see different towns. I know stay away from the big city marathons like Phuket, Bangkok or Pattaya as it’s a quagmire at the start and some like luguna have narrow roads. At times you’re walking or standing if you start at the back. Many people trip over because it’s crowded and you’re running in the dark to avoid the heat . The best marathons weatherwise are in the north from October to February . Flat courses are preferable for a first time marathon. I would recommend Nong Khai or Tha Rae in December. Getting an entry to the one you’ve researched and chosen is always a mission as the events often sell out quickly online. The sport is getting more popular every year and there are now a lot of events . Another tip you run, is to only drink the bottled water as often I would get sick from drinking the Water offered in open cups.
Partly due to the lockdown there are now virtual runs in the choice of your own location.. -

My Son had both his Thai and British Passport within a month of his birth.
How long ago was that? Just checking as the rules may have changed.

My child was born here in Thailand earlier this year.
One parent is Thai.
I cannot accurately obtain this information from the website before making a journey to the passport office.
Does anyone definitely know what is the minimum age a child can obtain a Thai passport? And has anyone recently applied for a Thai passport for their child.?
if so, what documents are required?

The oil capacity is about 0.8 of a litre. Use 10/30 grade of reputable big name brand oil.
I would thoroughly recommend watching your mechanic servicing your bike evwry time as many are very sloppy and not consistent. From what I have experienced over the years, they do not let all the dirty oil drain out properly, nor do they do up nuts tightly and sometimes forget to actually put some nuts back on the housing altogether.!
I've had a service where he didn't put enough new
oil into the sump.
One guy told me it didn't need a new air filter after 24.000km and when l opened it up at home and checked it myself, it was flithy!
It is unfortunate but l can not find a reliable and competent mechanic here so l'm now doing the servicing myself.
The reason for this lack of confidence is simply because many local 'mechanics' are not trained properly.
Buying a vehicle
in Thailand Motor Discussion
Posted
I’m considering buying a vehicle or motorcycle here in Thailand. Can some genuine, wise and knowledge people please give some friendly advise of the hidden pitfalls and necessary steps to take. E.g. the pros or cons are of putting the ownership in your name or your wife’s name. The advantages and disadvantages of purchasing either new or old in Thailand (other than the obvious) , buying privately versus from a dealer, the buyers protection or rights? For the benefit of sincere dialogue could any self proclaimed comedians please refrain.
