  1. Maybe this wasn't clear in my original post. My 90 day report was due on 19 April. So it looks like I will be ok leaving the country in a few weeks and may have to pay the penalty when I submit again the 90-day report after my return
  2. Thanks. The issue though is that I did not go in person to report after it was rejected online twice. It was dur a couple of days ago. I will be leaving for holidays in 4 weeks so what will happen at the airport? and will I be penalised if, when applying again in a few months? ie will they know I missed the current one and ask me to pay the 2000 baht penalty.
  3. Like many people in this forum, my online 90-day report was rejected twice over the past week or so. After renewing my 'retirement' visa at CW and updating my TM 30 there, IO assured me that I would have no problem applying online (just like I did for a couple of years previously). Did not happen. Now I am strapped for time and don't fancy another treck to CW. I will be leaving Thailand in a few weeks and so wonder if I can get away with not doing the report now as I won't be back for a few months. Will I have a problem at the airport before leaving? Will I be penalised on my return and/or when I do the next 90-day report. Thanks for clarifying
  4. Dd the same but was rejected again just got back from CW and the IO explained the rejection by saying I applied too close to the due date; total BS. of course! She also reprimanded me for not submitting my TM30. I updated it four years ago when I moved from my work address to the condo I own. She had nothing to say except go update your TM 30 ASAP. What are they on about, honestly?? They need some serious training on policies/rules and how to apply them across the board. I am dreaming, I know
  5. So this may be the case for me too on this occasion. However, and I have just noticed this now, I checked previous applications I made online and saw that in fact they did reject one before. Exactly the same info provided in all previous forms I filled out but twice now, they rejected them. No new passport. No new arrival date. Nothing different. The mystery continues
  6. Thanks again. Will make my way there with no appointment and avoid giving them my cash
  7. alternatively, can I just show up at CW with no appointment and get this done in time? If so, any idea how long the wait is?
  8. thanks. Is this the option to click? cos next available appointment not until 24 January and don't really fancy paying a fine Notification of residence when staying in the Kingdom over 90 days
  9. thought of that so checked and double checked but no error anywhere
  10. Thanks you Dr Jack and Liquorice. What a waste of my time to have to treck to CW for some obscure admin error, I am sure
  11. I am not quite sure why they rejected my online 90 Day reporting application online. This is the first time it happens and of course, no explanation is given! the email I received is 'ordering' me to go my nearest immigration bureau immediately. The due date is today, 17 January. My retirement extension is due for renewal mid Marck 2024 so wondering if the two are linked ie I have less than three months visa remaining. If that is the case then why would I need to go to immigration? Does it have to be CW where I normally get my visa extension? Any insight is gratefully received
  12. I need to order a few things from Amazon UK and have them delivered to a friend there who will then post them to me here in BKK. It's mostly some toiletries and tea, about 3 kilos in weight. As this is the first time I do this, I am wondering if I will need to pay a hefty tax bill when I receive the parcel. Can someone please shed some light on how tax is calculated so I can decide whether it's really worth doing this? Thanks
  13. Thanks for this. Fingers crossed, they will update their system and I can start applying online.
  14. Well, I wish I had followed your advice and not the one that said re-submit online and it might work. I ended up getting another rejection with the added order "to go immediately to my nearest Immigration Office". But because I still have 10 days before the deadline and the fact that I am not able to visit CW right now, I sent my application by post. Will this p+++ them off? Let's hope not
  15. Turned I did! Just got an email saying they have rejected my application on the grounds that no previous notification was found!?? let's this be a warning to everyone that just when you think all is going ok and you've taken all the necessary steps to abide by their regulations, you get another unpleasant annoying surprise. off to the PO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I think that was done given the number of stamps they put on the new passport. This was done at CW
  17. I used the new passport to get my retirement extension and they used three pages for all sorts of stamps referring to previous extensions I had. So I am assuming that's what you mean.
  18. I submitted my first online application for 90 day reporting today. I have a new passport and this is the first time I am applying online using it. Within seconds I received an email acknowledging receipt of my application. so far, pretty fast and efficient. Am I likely to get this approved given that I am submitting for the first time using a new passport? With my old passport, I never managed to do this online; always ended up having to do it by post. Thanks for your feedback
  19. Apologies if this has been covered already! Not always easy to do a simple search and get the answer. I will be travelling to Europe on 3 May and returning mid-May. How early can I apply for the Thailand Pass? Heard about people having to wait longer than one week so want to avoid any last minute stress. is there somekind of guide I can access to learn about what's needed? Thanks
