I don't know how the App works, but I did sent you PM a step-by-step instruction on how to register on the IO TM30 website and subsequently file your TM30s on-line.

Easy (if you know how to do it) - will take approx 1/2 hour to register and 1/2 hour to file your very first TM30.  Subsequent ones will only take 1-2 minutes.

can i have the link for the TM30 app? I'm in the same situation being a Condo Owner currently outside of LOS.

People did wear a mask on those buses.  Some buses left some seats empty. Many buses did not stop on the way,  as they usual would.  Some provinces checked arrivals for symptoms.

Most important: this was still early, on average,  hardly any one in Bangkok was infected.

Measures taken before mid March: masks became very common as of late February in Bangkok (on the BTS 90%). Temperature was taken everywhere,  many times a day. Disinfectant was everywhere.

All of this was not done in the West, was actively refused by people and by governments, and is mostly still not done today in the West.

Thailand did find that first patient outside of China because they did test. Italy waited for months, ignoring that Lombardy had the biggest Chinese expat community in the world.

France much later said "oh, we found a patient who seems to have had covid already in December". What does this say about their testing?

The US started testing,  found cases,  but then their president decided better not to test anymore, it might ruin his chances for reelection.

The biggest Chinese expat community in the world outside china is in Lombardy,Italy? Now, where is the source of this info from? Wikileak? White House? Donald Trump?

The borders are still closed, and will be for some time.  No way to walk around without having mask on during your 14 days of isolated quarantine, even in the rooms from what I have seen.  Plus even if you have some more space, your not going anywhere outside of the room....

On the contrary ThailandRyan, the borders are opening up very very soon. That's provided you are currently  in Vietnam.

Just get your pass book updated the morning you go to immigration.

Go directly to desk 8 and hand them a copy of the name/Ac No and pages showing transactions to that morning from your pass book, the form they gave you, copy of bio page of passport and last visa/extension issued by Thai immigration.

usually takes less than 5 minutes.
(have your original passport and bank book with you)

    yes....

As the Title explains itself, its the crossing from Thailand to Vietnam

The health ministry has also responded to the increasing number of requests from foreign-invested manufacturers in Việt Nam and local administrations to allow the entries of foreign experts and technicians into the country to ensure production progress, as the country’s border remains tightly shut against foreigners to prevent imported cases.

In the procedure, the companies with special entry requests make their case to the provincial or municipal authorities – only technicians and experts are allowed, not low skilled workers. Then the local authorities compile and submit the list to the public security ministry, who will discuss the matter with the transport ministry to arrange the flights, while quarantine sites are prepared.

And whenever this "amnesty" expires, you can probably expect unusually large crowds at immigration because they will probably let the amnesty expire for everyone at the same time.  My recommendation, to let the amnesty expire on everyone's individual 90-day cycle will probably not be followed.

So yes, better continue on your usual 90-days schedule.

You would??? Back to the Future episode.WOW!!!!

I was floating the idea... maybe because the people travelling in from neighbouring countries are considered lower risk than those from Europe etc where death rates have been higher?

As a Singaporean myself, being in both Thailand or Vietnam has it's previliges, despite the fact that we have the highest numbers of Covid-19 cases in South East Asia. it's how a country handles the pandemic and enforces strict measures on all fronts. Vietnam has done an excellent job so far, but Thailand is struggling at ends and having to pull out all stops, cases are still around.Pockets here and there.

I totally agree with your point RickG16

I would say no chance of it happening.

Laos is not allowing any entries and Cambodia only in certain cases if you have a valid visa.

As far as I know the borders from Laos and Cambodia to Vietnam are also closed

ON the contrary, if you have the necessary papers and connections, you would. I did but i'm regretting doing it a week ago.
