It is really a simple extension to apply for.

You will need her birth certificate and a copy. If not in English or Thai it has to be translated to Thai.

Copies of her passport photo page, visa, current extension stamp and TM6 departure card.

Copies of your passport photo page and extension stamp. You may also need a letter from your employer confirming you are still working for them.

Thank you Ubon Joe. No need for taxes or company registration?

  2. Good day to all, I am on a non B visa and my daughter (dependant) visa is  Non O. We are from the Philippines and I have been with the company for 18 years now, I would like to know the requirements for extending her Visa and had experience in doing this for advise, our agency used to do it but they have increased their fees and do not want to help in getting the requirements if I dont go with their services, with their 400% increase in fees I thought I would reather do it my self. Thank you in advance. Stay safe everyone!

No changes to the written rules but some work permit office will not do anything but WP3's unless you are already on a non-b visa.

Your employer can still do a WP1 application and obtain a work permit application approval letter that can be used to apply for a non-b visa.

Thanks Ubon Joe, So I can wait in Thailand until my new company gets the WP3 or WP 1 application before going out to get a new NON B. Thanks again!

  4. Hi all

I will be starting work with a new company,  I am currently on tourist visa after leaving my last work, now that I have a new job, I will be going to the agony WP 3 and NON B visa process again, I was told by the new company (international Hospital) that I have to stay out of Thailand while WP 3 is being processed and it will take a week or two before the WP3 will be released. and in the process I should be OUT of Thailand.

It was totally different when I started work with my previous jobs all Hospitals, I was waiting for my WP3 in Thailand and when the documents were all ready they gave me all the documents and travelled to Laos for a NON B.

Were there any changes in the last 11 months regarding this? Im from the Philippines.

    please advise thanks.

Visas are not extended so I assume you are asking about an extension of stay for your wife based upon your extension of stay.

Does she now have a non-o visa entry or an existing extension of stay.

What type of extension of stay do you have now?

The most important thing you will need is your marriage certificate that has been legalized by your embassy or an authority in the country where it was issued.

SHe is on Non O now, just got it from Hanoi, and yes we all have our documents marriage authenticated by the embassy, I remember there are requirements needed from my company that I cant remember.

  6. Hi the company of a friend applied for WP3 for him at the labor department for him to apply for NON B visa, but then he decided to go to another company because of better pay benefits etc... His new company will apply for his work permit, the question is, does the WP3 applied by the other company need to be cancelled before the new company applies for another WP3?

Will a cancelation letter from the first be ok to submit to the labor department?

    Thanks in Advance

  7. Hi All Happy New Year!!

Im not sure if we have this here already, but can someone tell me the requirements for converting my 2 daughters tourist visa to NON o visa, their Non O visa expired last January ,we were not able to complete documents before the date so they had to go out of Poipet and back in with a 30 day stamp to avoid overstay. Can anyone please give me a list of requirements. I am working here and we are from the Philippines.

    Thank you all in advance!

No problem, in that case Ubonjoe's advice is correct, as always.

Oh and to add, very bad advice from his HR department by saying it would be still valid!!!

The exact words were,, No need to cancel Visa just work permit you can stay til December! LOL

Sorry for butting in, the OP said his visa in not cancelled?

By that, does this mean that he physically has a Non B visa and NOT an extension of stay and that visa is a multiple entry type and is valid for entries up to December 2017?

Sorry for the confusion he has a 1 year extended NON B visa til December together with dependants under NON O
